Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with WR D.J. Hackett on a two-year, $3.5 million contract.

According to our good friend Darin, Justin Hartwig has been released. Hartwig’s biggest contribution was the mohawk under his helmet a couple of years ago.
That says it all.
Today the Carolina Panthers signed OLB Landon Johnson, who will compete with Na’il Diggs for the starting spot. Alongside ROY candidate Jon Beason and Thomas Davis, this could be the best line backing core the team has fielded since the Witherspoon era.
