Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons

After a heartbreaking loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Carolina Panthers are now 14-1 and still in the lead in the NFC for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. If I offered that possibility to you back in August… 100% of Panthers fans would gleefully accept it.

Granted, it was an ugly day, but it did yield a few good photos worth mentioning.

First, Cameron Artis-Payne looked good. I mean really good. I wish the Panthers would have continued to feed him the ball as it appeared he got stronger as the game went on. The Atlanta Falcons started stacking the box, forcing Cam Newton to throw. Unfortunately, it just was not a good day for the passing game.
