Ron Rivera unhappy with Carolina Panthers effort

The Carolina Panthers had a bit of a reality check from head coach Ron Rivera during day three of training camp.

During team drills, the Carolina Panthers defense was unable to get lined up and ready in time. The play never transpired. To say that Rivera was angry may be an understatement. Saying he was livid is probably a better description.

The words “That is not f****** good enough” washed over the crowd, much to their delight. The show of emotion from Rivera got him a large round of applause from the camp goers.

“It wasn’t good enough” Rivera said after practice. “They weren’t ready to play football. that is just baloney. The truth of the matter is, and I told the offense, if it happens again just snap the ball. They have to know who is in, they have to get themselves lined up.”

“That is not acceptable, and I let them know it.” Rivera said.

The practice then continued at a faster pace and finished without any additional critique from their head coach.
