If you could say one thing to Coach Fox......

What would it be?

Me;

I would ask him to go back to HIS rookie year here, look at HIS OWN philiosphy and fast foward to now. Look at what gave him his fire, and the things he wanted to accomplish.

Sometimes you do something for so long you lose the fire that got you there.

I would ask him if he knows 100% that what he does to run this team is the right way to win a Super Bowl. If not, I would tell him its ok to change.

There was a time when you had faith in knowing that Fox was going to put a competitive team on the field EVERY Sunday (that was 2003)

EVERY since then it seems we have defended performances with excuses of bad play or injury or coordinators.

Maybe we were wrong from the start.

Just a thought, not really any truth to it.

Either way I would tell Fox that I have lost SOME faith in him, he needs to find his old self, and quick.

What would you say?

"The Detroit Lions play with more passion than your football players, and they didn't win a single game."

Be Agressive. Play to win, both sides of the ball. He is too predictable, both sides of the ball.

Example, is great to play a soft zone, if there is a pass rush to support it. If it isn't, and you have a secondary who does better, man to man, then play it.

Yup. Same here.

I'd add "It was fun while it lasted, but it's time you move on."

Your defense sucks. Fix it or find someone that can do it for you.

Good luck next year. (Saying anything else would be stupid and pointless, as he will ignore you. People who are highly respected in their field and earn millions each year aren't tuned into taking advice from peons. Because his take would be, if you knew anything about football, you'd be working in the NFL. Sorry, it's the truth.)

The only thing I would ask him would not really deal with his football schemes or Xs and Os. What I would say would be this:

"Coach Fox, when you met your first Panthers team, you questioned their toughness. Essentially, you told them that they weren't tough enough to win in the NFL. They responded. Have you?"

Last season live on Panther Talk I reminded him of that.

He just went into Fox speak and "they practice too mode"

I was dissapointed.

Its like he has tunnel vision.
