That's a byproduct of ACC vs SEC

Also keep in mind that these rankings are based largely on who recruits the player. SEC schools recruiting a player means higher rankings, which ordinarily is probably a decent indicator. However, if a kid commits early on as a junior and stops the recruitment process at that time, the kid could easily be a top 25 player but never gather a lot of offers and thus not appear on this list.

Randleman's Joel Suggs is probably just such a player.

Still as a NC cfb fan I just dont see why Clemson/USCe(especially USCe) can continually come in and cherry pick our best players while still holding down their own state against UF, UGa and FSU as well. UNC and State have the resources and in state talent to be good.

If USCe can do what they have done there is no excuse for our programs. just no excuse.

Well USC is an SEC school and Klempsum has a better football program, nicer stadium, and (ignoring the recent issues with UNC for a minute) much easier admissions requirements for athletes. So I can kindof see why kids would rather go to those two schools that any of the NC schools.

Yep, who is recruiting a player matters a lot.

Being a fan of a school that does not get the pick of the litter in most cases, I've seen guys that were top 100/150 until they narrowed their list to eliminate major programs only to fall out of the highest rankings after committing.

Recruiting sites exist to sell subscriptions and a SEC recruit being listed in the top 50 probably sells more subscriptions than a recruit looking at any football school in NC.

Maybe im biased but if State can string some seasons togather like the past couple I feel we could make some huge gains.
