This is the matchup we all wanted to see. Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder. LeBron vs. Durant. I think this will be a great Finals. That being said, the clear favorite for this Finals is the OKC Thunder. They have been on a tear out west, have had a few days off, have the better coach, and have homecourt advantage. At times the Thunder look unstoppable, and I think this Finals is theirs to lose. Despite that, I'm gonna take the UNDERDOG Heat to win this one in 6 great games. The Heat's only chance is if LeBron, Wade, & Bosh bring their A games and get consistent contributions from the Heat supporting cast of Battier, Miller, and Chalmers. LeBron haters shouldnt expect a bad Finals from him this go round, he's been dominating all playoffs and has no excuses this year. I cant wait for this one to tip off Tuesday night in OKC!

Not all the time. I predicted Carolina to pick Cam Newton #1 back in October of '10. I was ran off this board as a joke. Hindsight is a bitch.

You should ditch the Bobcats avatar. You are the biggest LeBron/Heat fanboy I've ever seen. And they are divisional rivals of Charlotte.

You really thought old ass Boston could stop LeBron, jokes on you.. LeBron broke up the Big 3 in Boston. Theyll never play together again thanks to him.

Talk is cheap. Garnett, Pierce, Allen, & Rondo are world champions. LeBron is just another Malone.

Him knocking them out the playoffs 2 years in a row is why Celtic GM wants to break the team up and rebuild.

Thunder in 6.
This is the finals matchup I wanted. Durant leads the small market Oklahoma franchise to their first of many championships.

i'm sure it has nothing to do with two of the 'big three' being UFA's, right?

OKC in 6. LeBron drops to 0-3 in the Finals, Durant becomes the face of the NBA already at his young age. Durant will outplay LeBron, Westbrook will be unstoppable, and hopefully Harden does his thing. Ibaka should be able to shut down Bosh.

Ummm, no.
Garnett and Allen's contracts are up and Paul Pierce is heading into the final year on his deal.
Ignorant statement.

Get that second ring Nazr, just like AMorr did!

In all seriousness though, I am really looking forward to this series. Boston/SA would have been a great swan song to illustrious careers of many future HoFer's and this series will be the young guns vs. the possible end to another Big 3. The Heat need this or else they will be deemed a failure - fair or unfair, this will be a big blotch on their resume for the rest of their careers. Not because it will be a bad loss - the Thunder are stout - but because the draft class of '03 (arguably the best draft ever) will be outdone by a team pieced together through a handful of drafts.

Most importantly, our guy Cho will have a lot of credit for piecing together that team and should have our 'Cats fans with a lot to look forward to!

I updated the starting lineups with their 2012 playoff stats instead of the regular season. It gives a more accurate reflection of how guys are producing right now.

D Wade having an AWFUL game. Too many times he's taken the flow out of the offense by taking unnecessary jump shots. His fault the Heat are down.
