Kevin Summlin

Fire Rivera at the close of the season and bring in Kevin Summlin.

His is an offensive genius. Makes all his QBs look all world. He just beat Bama's NFL pro defense in his first year at Texas A&M. Doing a remarkable job in the SEC.

Focuses on quick high % passes but adjusted when Bama started to take that away and killed Bama deep.

I think Cam would flourish in his system / offense.

I dont get these type of comments.

Coaching is coaching.

X's and O's

Motivating Players

Managing Staff & Players

No thanks to any average NFL coaches.

I want proven winners and innovators.

Unless we can get a super bowl winning coach that is competitive and in the hunt every year.

Good luck getting that.

That's a good name that has yet to be brought up. I really like Sumlin, but only to be our OC. He was great at Houston and has turned Texas A&M into one of the best teams in the country despite losing Tannehill and other talent last year. His defenses have always been a bit suspect though.

It should go without saying he should be required to bring in a proven DC.

Again, who was the last college coach to successfully make the transition, omitting Harbaugh?

If its all just coaching and X's and O's then get Greg Olsen's dad, 9 State titles at a Jersey HS.

Again, that has nothing to do with the point I raised.

Its not common for NFL teams to hire college coaches as HCs. So your sample size is small to begin with. Not to mention each coach being different.

Saban did fairly well. Harbaugh is doing great. Hell even the guy from TB seems to be doing ok.

The point is we shouldnt settle for some average or unproven NFL coach. And we dont need to overlook potential coaches simple because they coach in the NCAA.

I don't care where the hell the HC comes from. As long as W's start showing up on the schedule after the hire.

We need an offensive passing / qb genius if we want to get to the next level with Cam.

I don't care if comes from college or NFL. I just want someone who will get us on right track. Cam needs serious coaching. His mechanics and accuracy are awful.

I don't have one in mind.

I would assume it would be someone from within to finish the season.

Within the Panther organization?!?

I can assure you there is no offensive genius or qb guru on our staff.

This QB needs to learn how to read a freakin defense and get the ball where it needs to go on target. A college coach is not going to come in and use a system to utilize pre-snap reads and that's what it takes to be successful in the NFL.

We need Cowher...the end. It's gotta be either Cowher or Gruden and I know people are talking a big game with Gruden to the Eagles but who wants to go to a team with no QB. At least we have a one of a kind talent for those elite coaches to work with.

Please, dont be silly. Pre snap reads are used in college.

As far as your other comments.

No thanks to Cowher, to conservative imo. Esp on the offensive end. He is not what Cam needs.

I would not mind Gruden though. He is a smart man and understands the qb position.

I agree with you whole heartedly. All I hear all the time is college coaches Chip Kelly mostly.
The HC I have in mind has won 3 NFC championships and 1 Superbowl.
As far as i know his name has not come up on this board. (sorry if it has)
