Very judgmental comment...especially considering the fact that I started a thread last week titled "Corey will be OK." And posted in another thread today that I think Corey will overcome his mental issues that are resulting in recent drops. In case that wasn't enough...can you explain what in my post that you replied to indicated that I have given up on Brown? Was it the part where I acknowledged his route running? Or the part where I said that I hoped the mental issues leading to his drops are fixed soon? Or could it just be that it is you who are jumping to conclusions?
I was referring to the fact that Cam was working on redzone drills with only Olsen, Funchess, and Brown. Olsen and Funchess are clearly our 1 and 2...so wouldn't one assume that they still view Brown as our #2WR (#3 pass catcher if you include Olsen)?
Remmers - Solid starter who is better suited to be a backup swing lineman. Cotchery - Solid backup now that KB is out...cut if KB was healthy. Brown - I really just don't know. I want to say his drops are mental and that he will get it together. His route running is great. Possibly a solid backup Ealy - solid starter...I think he will have a coming out party this season Klein - solid backup and swingman...can play OLB and MLB Boston - solid backup at a minimum, possible starter. Would love to see him and Coleman on the field together. Harper - Backup only at this point. Bene - Starter material, without a doubt
I defended Brown as well...not anymore. It's all mental right now, and he can't shake it. I feel for the guy, but as of now he doesn't deserve a spot on our roster. With that being said, it wouldn't surprise me if he still makes the team.
