These are great, couldn't watch the game since I was riding coasters with my buddy at Cedar Point. While waiting in line he was reading out the play by play and he said "interception return for a TD by the panthers!" So I was like "bet it was Josh Norman." and I told him about my post about suggesting he jump on a waiting horse and riding off into the sunset. Sure enough we watched a replay a few minutes later and he celebrated by riding an invisible horse.
What's annoying me is the people who say he flopped, so what? Brady flops and gets the calls. Manning just has to fall down like an old man and refs are all too happy to throw a yellow flag or two. It's like unless Cam is destroyed within an inch of life people think he's just flopping. Brady slides and gets grazed as he's sliding and the refs can't help but toss 3 yellow flags while Cam gets pushed down after several steps and gets nothing.
I finally saw a video of the hit and I'd say it should've been called considering the defender pushed Cam clearly after the ball was gone. While it wasn't egregious, it was a late hit by the book and would've been called for Manning or Brady.
Sour grapes like Bronson can eat a dick, if he'd actually watched the game he'd have seen the officials were calling that game one sided. It's not even just this game either, defenders seem to always get in a slightly late hit on Cam when he runs and no flag is thrown while other running QB's get grazed as they were sliding and you see 3 yellow flags flying in. We may never know what was said between Hoc and Cam but it's clear as day that the refs have decided long ago that Cam doesn't get the same protection as Brady or Manning.
