  1. SF 49'er safety Jaquiski Tartt

Was a big fan of Tartt last year in the draft, Samford is producing some quality DB's.
  2. Philly Brown had shoulder surgery

But Garrett is a first ballot Hall of Famer.
  3. Hitner to the Rams?

    Literally Hitner.
  4. We can buy the team if we crowdfund it. Will $2500 cover the down payment?
  5. The Black Luke Kuechly...

Thank God someone like Riley Cooper didn't say the exact same thing otherwise this would be huge.
  6. Just imagine a LB trio of Davis, Kuechly and David. Unfortunately if we drafted David we probably would've never given Davis another chance.
  7. Trai Turner hires new representation...

Fug, no vet minimum now I guess.
  8. Garrett > Funchess?

Might be a little early guys but I think Garrett might be a ten time all-pro, first ballot Hall of Famer who will be viewed as the voice of his generation and bring about world peace. Probably.
  9. Gettleman eating

    I drink your milkshake!
  10. Panthers bringing in a QB

Thank God, now we can convert him to TE.
  11. Panthers list Jeremy Cash as linebacker.

He was awful in coverage, wondered if he would be moved.
  12. Gentlemans plans seem to assume he can....

I think you have to view this as a practical draft that will pay long term dividends. Everyone wants a sexy draft where you land big names that you see on Walterfootball but the reality is those big name drafts don't matter if the players names are bigger than their fit and the scheme and talent. If I went back and watched tape on the 2015 Panthers I'd say we were pretty damn solid except for our blown 4th quarter leads and depth at defensive line and CB. What does Gettleman do? He brings in Soliai to back up Star and drafts Butler to back up KK and give us a deep rotation that replaces an aging Dwan Edwards. At CB we lost all-pro Josh Norman and likely Peanut Tillman, that's a big hole. We still had Bene and brought in a nickel in Boykin so we needed to add talent at the position. James Bradberry is a physical, tall prospect that will take time to develop but has high upside. Worley is more likely a convert to FS but he adds depth and talent to develop. Sanchez is a ball hawk that bites too much and pays for it but makes big plays on occasion, he also isn't a good match-up outside so you ask, why draft someone who loses jumpballs? Gettleman is looking into the future when Boykin is a free agent, Sanchez is his plan at nickel and will be able to learn. Cash is horrendous in coverage but has amazing tackling and blitzing skill, watch for him to be a situational player in year 1 and learn how to cover properly. If he develops his coverage game he could be our future SS, if not it's no water under the bridge since he's an UDFA. So yeah, not a boom draft that'll rear 5 Rookie All-Pro's but a draft that builds our weaknesses and allows us to compete long term.
  13. Someone sell me on why Butler was a good pick?

Big men allow you to compete.
  14. About those corners...

Yeah...but we didn't get an "A" grade from ESPN, so what about that? ESPN has the best experts in football working on these grades so why haven't we run Gettleman out of town yet?
  15. What if I told you our draft went like this....

But the guys we drafted were .000001 points lower than the BPA!
