To add to that, Cedric Ogbuehi is still recovering and the odds of him being a big time LT this year are country mile long.http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/173091/bengals-ots-like-andre-smith-slimmed-down-to-fit-faster-offense Not sure what else could have realistically been done to give us the best 53 man roster possible than what we did.
DJ Humphries struggled mightily in minicamp and reviews overall have been far from positive even since this June article. http://espn.go.com/blog/arizona-cardinals/post/_/id/14570/d-j-humphries-overcomes-slow-start-to-offseason-workouts just saying.
So what? Same team we've hung with and coulda/woulda/shoulda beat multiple times. They already released McDaniel who had two key fumble recoveries and was a key cog against us. Their role players will continue to take a significant hit as I've posted in detail multiple times.
Exactly. This article here says they likely didn't want to pay more that $7 mil per http://chawktalk.com/2014/12/12/how-much-will-bobby-wagner-cost/ I think most knew we were going to pay more than $11 per for Luke. Heck his 5th year option is more than that.
Good. Look forward to seeing the numbers. Luke has to be imminent now so we know what we have going forward. As for them, doesn't change a thing. Same team for now and half their roster will be a FA next year. They will be scraping the bottom of the barrel for role players after paying 8 guys (including some questionable ones, Wright? Avril? et al while Chancellor is still holding out) long term mega deals and having a piss poor last three drafts.
Cam Jordan was a huge letdown for them last year when he wasn't playing a French Canadian in his first game in the United States. Even many of their own fans thought his new deal reeked of desperation and blind hope. Our own Cam (Jerry) literally made their Cam look like Tom from the old cartoon Tom and Jerry in their house last year.
