  1. 2014 Benjamin vs. 2015 Ginn

Apples and oranges. Ginn had a good year no doubt. Imagine though what Kelvin would have looked like with a healthy Cam who presents a real threat of the read option. That's why 2014 was such a struggle collectively even though Benjamin still had a big year.
  2. Don't Sleep on Dean Marlowe

The eye test thing. You dissed his because he didn't work for the organization. Then you gave your eye test summary....leaving you vulnerable for the same scrutiny you gave him.
  3. Don't Sleep on Dean Marlowe

That's an ironic two sentences. I agree though I thought CAP flashed a few times last year. This season he should be even better.
  4. To paraphrase: "We are gonna win so much. We're going to win so much that you're gonna say, "Mr. President we're tired of winning." And you know what I'm gonna say? "We're gonna keep winning, we're gonna win at every level, and we're just gonna keep winning." This thread is made in jest, but I'd like to see the Hornets take that to heart. Part of me believes that just getting that monkeyoff their back (first playoff win)will propel the team, and inspirea collective confidence within the squad. Very important now for us to carry over this momentum on the road. Anyway Keep Pounding Hornets.
  5. Panthers rescind Norman's franchise tag...

Look at the sack/hurry totals in those games. Look at the sack totals against ATL when we've lost. Good system player but pressure is what the Panthers have always been about.
  6. Panthers rescind Norman's franchise tag...

Truth is. Josh is a glorified system player. Didn't snag a single pick after week 4 or 5 and he can't guard Julio. Good player....not nearly worth what he thinks.
  7. Hornets vs Heat, Game 1 PLAYOFF GAMETHREAD

Should be a fun game. Even if we drop this game I'm not really worried. We split the season series with these guys and lately Miami has been very inconsistent. I think Kemba has finally reached a point where he can keep our team in check. We also have very good depth that should serve us well as this series plays out. We have the talent and we have the coaching. Now it's time for this team to know they can advance.
  8. I can't see a Gettleman round 1 WR this year.

I'm a Gamecocksfan. However, I have avery close relativewho is afootball alumni and boosterforEastern Kentucky. When I saw Spence mocked to us on a few websites.I made a phone call. I know for a fact that he's been a model citizen and has really turned things around. Truth is he was never bad to begin with he just made a mistake and got burned for it. He manned up and learned his lesson. Same could be said for Cam.
  9. RB: Terron Beckham

Trust in DG. Whether he invites him or not.
  10. I can't see a Gettleman round 1 WR this year.

DE mostly. Could see him as a linebacker in some situations. We need more pass rush. He'll be the best pass rusher on the board by the time we pick.
  11. I can't see a Gettleman round 1 WR this year.

People might hate to hear this...I think DG goes LB in the first. I expect Noah Spence to be the pick if he drops. If he's not available we're going to pick up a corner.
  12. Doesn't surprise me. Lived in Germany a few times. They have German youth football and something similar to high school football in terms of player ages.
  13. Big Congrats to the Hornets

Goodjob on clinching a playoff berth and to this point having the best season since coming back to the Queen city. Good job and beat the Cavstoday!
  14. J-No wants 16 million a year

That's ok. At least we would be prepared for it. Plus he would be too old to command that figure.
  15. J-No wants 16 million a year

Bye Norman. Your services aren'trequired at that figure. Sign and trade incoming. If we sign Boykin and draft a cb in the 1st we may even be better in the back end then last year, collectively.
