I'm not saying that they aren't trying to help, just that they aren't efficient what so ever. They are bogged down by miles and miles of red tape, and continue to try their best to undermine anything you are trying to do so they can justify their positions.
No, just correcting Panthro's numbers. I do think that we need to do away with loopholes, figure out how to actually tax the wealthy...not the "rich" and middle class as much, etc.....but I don't think that the "poor" need to be paying less taxes, and I do think that everyone should have some skin in the game. I don't support a flat tax, I'm more of a fair tax guy, and I'm all for anything that would promote more Americans to save money, which I think the fair tax does.
If my math is correct, with just the standard deduction someone making 20k would pay roughly $990 per year in federal income taxes, or a little less than 5% or so. With any kids...god forbid, it drops more. The "working poor" in this country don't really pay that much to the fed, much like the uber wealthy.
In the end, Rivera's insistence on keeping Shula will be the downfall of Rivera. I can't tell you how frustrating it was/is when we were only giving out a 1 year deal for an OC when we had just drafted a QB no. 1 overall...
