  1. "Show me a good loser... "

I absolutely think it's an admirable and desired quality to be gracious in defeat. There's photographic and video evidence that Cam Newton was in fact gracious in defeat to his opponents, congratulating Peyton and other players on the field after the game. They were his peers that bested him on the field, he owed them that. He doesn't owe a thing to reporters who have maligned him for the majority of his career, and now want a sound bite from the MVP. The MVP is an award given by the press, and while they'd like everyone to believe that some obligation comes along with that award, it doesn't.  We've all watched enough post game interviews to know that there wasn't any new insight or information to be gained from that post game press conference. He was the losing QB, they're going to roast him either way, so why give them any material. Hell, your QB did the exact same thing when it happened to him. He didn't even congratulate the other team. I hate Peyton Manning(at least the teams he's played for), but I don't think it was immature of him. Immature is cursing someone out on social media or announcing that you intentionally tried to hurt another player.

Man, I'll bet every DB in the NFL would be jealous of this backpedal.
  3. video of Cam responding to criticism

Oh the irony of anyone on this or any message board calling an NFL player a 'punk.' It's astounding how little the average adult male understands the athleticism and toughness of even a practice squad player in the NFL.
  4. If Cam Newton wasn't a Panther...

If he was a Falcon, I would hate him. I would probably also call him a thug and wish disease and death on him as I have every other NFC South rival QB in my weaker moments. I like to think I take every opportunity to learn things about myself and correct my behavior when I notice something wrong with it. Being a fan of Cam has opened my eyes to a lot of hypocritical BS that I've participated in in the past. I've tried to do a better job of hating the jersey, not the guy wearing it, and reserving the label of 'thug' to people that actually hurt other people, rather than just their feelings.
  5. My take on the Cam Newton fumble.

The simplest answer usually IS the correct one. So I'm going to assume you say all of this dumb stuff simply because you are dumb.
  6. Ealy made Super Bowl History

He's due a big roster bonus in March, so we should know by then.
  7. Ealy made Super Bowl History

I like where your head is at, but he's not a FA until 2018, right?
  8. Ealy made Super Bowl History

Time to find him a nice bookend in FA.
  9. Remmers

He didn't cost us the game alone, but he was definitely a weak link. If we want to compete with elite defenses, we have to shore up RT with a high level player. Good thing we have FA and the draft coming up. I have faith in Gettleman to find someone good, and faith in Remmers to be either elevate his game to keep his spot(I don't think this is likely due to his ceiling) or be a good team mate and provide quality depth.
  10. Im with Sean Payton's Vicodin.. Just ban me also

All these grown men in this thread, getting all excited over Jeremy getting rid of one of his ALTs. LOL!
  11. Would Carolina at Denver Be the 2016-17 Opening Game?

Never understood the concept of 'avenging' a Super Bowl loss by winning a single regular season game. I know you didn't come up with it, it's just always seemed funny to me. Nothing done in a single regular season game will avenge a Super Bowl loss.
  12. With Cam as QB do we have a shorter 'window'?

If he was built like Michael Vick, then Yes. However he's built like Michael Strahan, so No.
  13. Denver's team is three times as old as ours. It takes time to build a solid fan base. We're on our way.
  14. Lamest. Rioters. Ever.
  15. So where does Carolina finish next year?

On your mom? No, seriously, I think we'll make it to the playoffs. Beyond that, who knows.
