Allen getting double teamed all game? Lmao were y'all even watching the d line or just talking out your ass? I'm with Rum on this one... very unimpressive debut for Allen Coaches must've seen it too because Delaire basically took his job at halftime. It was mainly Ealy/Delaire out there in the 2nd half.
Dameshek was absolutely right about the perception thing. Both of these QBs had extremely strong preconceived notions already formed about them coming out of college... probably more so than any of other player drafted in the past 5 or so years. Cam was supposed to be the biggest bust in history, and Luck was supposed to be the greatest pick in history. These preconceived notions are present even today in the narrative that's painted with each of them. The media knows what the general public thinks of Luck, just as they know what the general public thinks of Cam... and they cater to it. Props to Dave for bringing up and talking about what no else will... even if they know in the back of their mind that it's there. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing.
Uh, what? Have you ever actually watched Rodgers play? Because it sounds like you're summing him up based on that one game, and it honestly sounds stupid as fug. Yes, Rodgers can throw those precision lasers downfield also. He can also throw those pinpoint bombs downfield while on the move. He can make any throw you can think of. They call him "surgical" because he's pretty damn accurate regardless of what he's throwing. He threw screens all game because KC had absolutely no answer for it. Why the hell would you move away from what's working if you're absolutely shredding their defense with it and you just dropped 28 points on them in a half? He was killing them before the snap all game long. Rodgers is easily the best quarterback in the game right now.
They've honestly escaped being 0-3 by a fuging ass hair. Sure, they've got a ridiculously easy schedule, but they're not going to win all of them. Their 3 wins are honestly more about how the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys absolutely choked away what should have been wins. We're not great or anything, but neither are they.
