Goddamnit I get mad thinking about it. If we beat the 49ers, like we should have, and I think we'd have had a damn good shot against Seattle... a lot more so than we did this past season anyways. Not saying we'd have beat Seattle, but it'd have been a good one. We were just flat out a better team at that point than we were when we saw them week 1 that year. Don't have a single doubt in my mind that we'd have beat the absolute poo out of Denver if we made it to the Super Bowl. Our pass rush was absolutely ridiculous that year. Cold weather Peyton + insane pass rush... lol.
Wrong again. It's really best just to avoid commenting on something altogether when you don't know what you're talking about. In 31 snaps Luke logged a +2.0 grade and was one of the top graded players on the team that week... which is damn good considering such limited play.

Linebackers: Shaq Thompson, Panthers (-7.1) and Kelvin Sheppard, Dolphins (-4.0) Thompson missed more tackles (three) than he made (two). That alone should tell you what kind of a day it was for the linebacker, and explain his very poor -5.1 run defense grade. Sheppard also was poor in the run defense game (that seems to be a theme today), making only one solo stop and missing a tackle. He too was simply unable to get off blocks at the second level and make any kind of plays. That's one of the worst grades I think I've ever seen one of our guys get from PFF... damn Lol well that single game just completely torpedoed his standings in their top rookies of the year race
Allen getting double teamed all game? Lmao were y'all even watching the d line or just talking out your ass? I'm with Rum on this one... very unimpressive debut for Allen Coaches must've seen it too because Delaire basically took his job at halftime. It was mainly Ealy/Delaire out there in the 2nd half.
