really they should have just rushed the nazis. after all: i know for a fact that there are posters here who would defend or even vote for this dumbass. without appealing to his experience as a neurosurgeon, something that is of course irrelevant to the issues he addresses and the job that he wants, can anyone explain to me how he's anything more than a less charismatic, black sarah palin? hell at least palin had experience in governance. it's hard to see carson as anything more than the republican party's shield against accusations of racism.
kasich just realized he's trying to win a primary, not the general, but it's a little too late in the game for him to try to catch up to trump and carson in overall appeal to the moronic base. he should stay low key and hope that being the establishment's 5th option for president pans out for him. it seems more realistic than stealing the stupid vote from the current leaders in the polls
he's a fringe player y'all. no one bothered to poach him from the practice squad after he was cut. he did ok today but imo what separates the good from the replacement-level players is consistency. the greats play at an elite level consistently, the good can sometimes but not always look like the best player on the field, the average might surprise you here and there but they mostly are what they are, the fringe guys break 30 yards for once in their careers and generate "told you so" threads on the internet. e: i hope he turns into a top 5 receiver for us so for as long as he's here i will pull for him but he really hasn't done much up to this point. he certainly hasn't done enough to warrant new threads every time he shows up in the box score.
i hope this simple 2 part test clears things up for you: does the US do (thing)? yes? can you prove it? yes? ok, (thing) is not a war crime. realistically, western leaders do not face charges of war crimes because the deck has long been stacked in their favor. criminal trials for wartime atrocities are little more than the means for the winner of conflict to claim the moral high ground and to quickly rewrite history. the obama presidency has overseen a shift away from the more nakedly genocidal tactics characteristic of earlier administrations (unending support for israel and various "moderate rebels" notwithstanding), preferring instead tactics more reminiscent of the very terror we're supposed to be combating. rather than ask if the current president is guilty of war crimes, it may be more interesting to ask how far back we must go in order to find a president who probably shouldn't stand trial.
