  1. It doesn't get talked about but luke pretty much is a teb0w, although he just doesn't talk about his faith.    guy went to catholic school growing up, went to Boston college, and is still dating his high school sweetheart. He's a Catholic boy.
  2. I'm really surprised the dude isn't married by now.   it doesn't make sense that he doesn't have some girl that he's dated since high school with his type of upbringing.

  6. I think it's more talent beating our talent. Seems like the obvious things like throw on Harper or Colin jones are too obvious. Or double Olsen and stacking the box to shut down the run. They aren't working because of the talent we have to overcome that. Olsen can make plays double teamed, Jstew can run for 4-5 yards with a loaded box, and cam can dice you with his arm if you try and stop the run or blitz.   this is a talent driven league and we are fortunate enough to be loaded in key positions with talented contributors and with a coaching staff that allows our players to do what they do best.   it is why I think we will wipe the floor against New England if we play them. We are just too good and Brady cannot mask all those injuries to talented players even though he will be one of the top 3 best players on that field at the most important position.

  9. Johnson and Hardy

I gotcha. And what I meant was if he had still been on the field, in Carolina, who knows what his growth as a football player would be. He was trending up. Then he got a year vacation. You can't just look at one game, against us, and say see? That's looking at things in a vacuum. That was the point I was trying to make. Greg did a lot of stuff that not only registered in pressures, sack numbers, setting the edge but he allowed our linebackers to play better. And he did this against really good teams. 49ers, New England, Seattle. He played hard until the final whistle and gave us a nasty identity on the d line. I think calling him overrated or trying to compare him to Luke or jj is unfair. It is what it is. Hardy will never be back nor should he be.  This will be the last time I mention him this season, too much good poo going on right now. Feels like those pics Jeremy posted closed the book on everything. Great closure.
  10. Panthers Work Out Cortland Finnegan

Has he even played on a team this year? I haven't followed
  11. Johnson and Hardy

Who knows what would have happened if he had stayed here and that mess hadn't happened. Can't look at a player in a vacuum. Hardy was trending up and was/is young. A year away from football wasn't good for his development.   im not a hardy homer, kind of a dismissive way to brush aside a reasonable response I had.

its about giving two year deals to players you are not sure about. you are stuck with them if they don't perform well with their cap hits and dead money if cut. DG has stated as much in interviews. Sure they regret only signing 1 year players after the fact they produced well.   they tried to eliminate risk as much as possible. 2013-14 were transition years for us to save as much money as possible for cam luke olsen and set us up for our draft picks. that's the way i saw it anyway. i mean we were signing players for less than a mill one year contracts. if those players didn't pan out they walk free, sign two and three year deals cut them and dead money accrues and those chunks add up. We were trying to get out as quickly as possible. i dont feel like looking up the cap totals for years 2013 and 14. but you will see a SERIOUS difference between those years and what we were working with for 15 and could take a little more risks.
  13. Ginn, Oher and Coleman

I wouldn't say learned his lesson. We were mightily cap strapped. He was playing it one year at a time. After the cap opened up you saw more two year deals
  14. Ginn, Oher and Coleman

All three signed two year deals
