  1. Last add: I just looked at the stat line and thought I was seeing things. This was such a messy game, such a tough battle vs. your D line, I'm not sure I saw the same game they played! I would have totally expected the two QB stat lines to be reversed.   R. Wilson 25/33 320 9.7 1 0 2-20 115.7     C. Newton 16/23 125 5.4 1 0 1-6 97.2   God, it seemed like Wilson did nothing but scramble and toss the ball when he had a chance. I have no idea how that became a 300 yd game!   And with Newton, it seemed he could do no wrong most of the game. He did, iirc, miss two inexplicably, but the rest was pretty good. Totally amazed when I saw his yards at 125! 250, sure, on a dink-and-dunk day, but 125? Freaked me out.   Does anyone else feel like they watched this game in the Twilight Zone?   Both had good ratings, however, with Cam at 97 or something like that.   Speaking of Cam, I saw some posts saying Cam sucks, but that's obviously not true. He stayed poised in a tough, frustrating game with a poor receiving corps. The kid can toss the rock. Give him a little O line and at least one more receiver - and maybe a new coaching staff - and he'll be awesome.   Don't overreact. He's a keeper.
  2.   I wasn't talking about your receivers, either. I was talking about OUR receivers, the Seahawks'. You can't handicap your team properly if you're not objective. We have a very good stable of receivers, but because the vast majority of fans and analysts focus on pure #'s, yards catches, they don't actually look at the metrics.   The Seahawks' receivers have excellent yards per play, YAC, excellent catch per target, etc. They are very good, but get fewer balls because it's a run first team and Wilson spreads it around very, very well.
  3.   Our receivers are far from scrubs. You should be figuring that out by now. It's a strength for our team.
  4. Alright... they're kneelin', so I'm dealin'.   The Good, Panthers:   * AWESOME D-line * Cam was very good. Will have to watch replays to see if he was great. A couple throws were eyebrow raisers. Still, kept his cool, seemed to stay in command, mostly very accurate. * Your run game was great given the O-line! Much better than expected. You should have run more!     The Good, Seahawks:   * Russell Wilson * Receivers * D-backs * 4 balls ripped   The Bad, Panthers:   * D-line tired? * Secondary. When Wilson had time, they had little trouble completing passes. * Fumble * Coaching? I really wasn't focusing on your play calling, but I would have run a lot more.   The Bad, Seahawks:   * O line for 3 quarters. * D line, but expected. * Bevell! Brilliant to call that corner end zone twice in a row, though. * Run up the middle 1st down long after it had never worked. Still... did that tire your D-line?   Overall, you guys are tough! Keep that D line, add an O line and a CB or S and you might be scary good.   Been fun. Thanks for letting me visit.   Good luck from here till the playoffs.   Cheers
  5. Beast Mode! Zone Bblocking! Your D-line the one getting tired?   I've been yelling at Bevell... maybe I was wrong.   Still lots of time left.   Stressssssssssssss.............
  6. Seattle emphasizes ball hawking. That's four they've knocked out today.   At least we're doing *something* right!
  7. You're welcome for the 40 yards.
  8.   Four drives to one, definitely. Embarrassingly, we only have 12 points off those four drives.   Credit to your D.
  9.   In Thomas' defense, Williams is blazing fast and Jermaine Kearse has been unbelievable this off-season. Wilson kept raving about him the whole off-season.
  10. May have been a bad call.
  11.   I was scared poopless they were going to go for it. Thank goodness they didn't.
  12. Credit your D, absolutely. Less that fumble it's a a 9 - 7 or 13 - 7 game.   We have got to score here.   Thanks for the decent field position!
  13.   Yup. One of the things that makes him what he is.
  14. If we don't do something to address your D-line our next drive, this game is over.   Hell, might be over if we don't stop you this drive.
