  1. The fact that when we got down to our 4th and 5th string CBs this year we signed old guys off their couch at home rather than even consider putting Teddy Williams on the defense makes him a waste of a roster spot.
  2. Judge chastises racist cop

What was it I missed it
  3. Are there any players on The Huddle?

Jeremy has mentioned before that he's had some sort of contact with players before who have let him know they read the Huddle. They're not going to be named, and I don't think it has to do with the Dan Morgan thing because that was years ago and before a lot of them were on the team. It's probably because if we knew we'd just flood the place with threads like "Hey Stewart! JStew look at me! Read my thread Stewart! Check out this new nickname I thought for you: Blast Man Smash Runguy. I got it from Power Rangers TurboCharge. Stewart READ THIS THREAD."
  4. NFL Turning Point: The Clete Blakeman Effect

The list is one sided because the calls were one sided.
  5. NFL Turning Point: The Clete Blakeman Effect

You can't take your helmet off to talk poo. That wasn't a bad call.
  6. 2016 3 biggest roster holes.

I realize that OT is a concern after the Super Bowl and Falcons game, but man. Now I want to use the Broncos formula. I want the best defense in NFL history. We had the #1 offense in the NFL with our current roster, so why not just keep that roster and draft entirely defense? Sign Weddle if we can, sign JPP if we can, draft CB in the first round.
  7. 2016 3 biggest roster holes.

I think Tillman will be back. He's said the Panthers are the only team he'd play for, and I think he has enough in the tank to be solid vet back-up for Bene. The rest of those are surely gone.
  8. His play this year wasn't worth 10 million dollars. I would still cut him.
  9. NFL Turning Point: The Clete Blakeman Effect

Yeah this is how I feel about it too. Did the referees cost us the game? Yes. We would have won if the first Von Miller TD was called a penalty, if the PI was called, if the last illegal bat was called. That's inargueable, because two of those plays led to their only touchdowns. But there's a saying in MMA and boxing. Don't leave it in the hands of the judges. You have to knock them out. If we had played better, we would have won.
  10. 2003 or 2015.... which one hurt more?

2003 hurt more because it was a 'magical' season with a slim chance of being duplicated. It was our 1 shot. Whereas the 2015 Panthers are only the tip of the ice berg of what is to come.
  11. Your feels... prepare to be hit

I've never heard anything at all about a locker room thing, I've always heard he was one of our leaders. The way I remember it explained was that Gettleman was doing him a favor to get him some playing time because he'd be benched here based on play coming off his injury.
  12. They said the exact same thing about Obama in 2008. Superdelegates don't 'declare' for someone ahead of time, they tend to switch depending on who wins the state.
  13. Hell yes retire as a Panther. He's the only Panthers jersey I've ever bought.
  14. We need a DE... so whom?

We have the most connection with JPP (Gettleman connection) and Coples (back-up draft choice for Luke). I could see either of those guys, though our intent was to turn Coples into a DT, so maybe that's null.
