Luke is the GOAT and my role model. As a former LB I have a ton of appreciation for his play and his passion on the field. However, as great as he is off the field, he also seems to be an all around outstanding person as well. I'm glad to see him get the contract he deserves, proud to call him a Panther, and excited to watch him lead this defense for years to come! Cheers!

I don't have the time to post all of my thoughts on this subject at the moment, but here are a few quick thoughts about this specifically.
In my opinion and based on my experiences:
citizens would be in a lot more danger if disorderly conduct, trespassing, and being drunk in public were all legalized.
Citizens would be in a lot more danger if police were not able to make stops based on suspect descriptions. And I'm not talking about a description as general as "middle aged black male." usually when stops are made based off a description, there are more specific details.
Police would be in more danger if they did not have armored vehicles for emergency SWAT situations, such as barricaded subjects, hostage situations, etc. Also would be in more danger in riot situations. Armored vehicles are for defensive purposes, not to harm people.
Police would be in danger both on duty and off if every time there was a shooting, they were placed on leave without pay. That means on-duty officers that are put in a lethal situation are likely to hesitate and get seriously injured/killed and means that the ones that do shoot to save their lives will now not have a paycheck to support their families with, even if it was completely justified until the investigation is complete.
I have a lot of other stuff to say on the subject too, but again I don't have the time to post it all right now. I also don't know if it's worth it either, because from my experience on here, people are usually set on their views and it's just an argument for argument's sake most of the time. In-person discussions are generally more respectable and likely to result in good conversation that gets somewhere IMO.

The intentions behind all of the suggestions are good intentions I believe. However, many of the suggestions are going to actually create more problems, some are contradictory, and many are just plain dumb. Kudos to them for brainstorming and coming up with some ideas, but it needs MAJOR work.

That's not Melvin Gordon. He plays for the Chargers, not the Raiders
