  1. What did he accomplish with less? Because without another MVP on his team he has 0 rings. Dirk has 1 under these circumstances.
  2. My issue with LeBron is regarding this narrative of he needs help. Hell, he is the reason he doesn't have more around him. He helped JR and Tristan get paid. He had a lot of input on who that team signed this past year.

The NFLPA continues to stir the pot

Please, stop. Nobody in this forum can ever have constructive discussion or debate of ideas because of this attitude right here. Did I ever justify the killing of civilians? No. Not once. If that's what you drew out of all that then maybe I didn't make my point clear enough. I'll own that if that's the case. You categorize the military as people shooting farmers armed with sticks and stones. The categorization of those farmers first and foremost is offensive to those nations and those people. Secondly, after we inadvertantly participated in tribal rivalries we found out what was happening and we changed our ROE. So much so that it put American troops at an increased, unnecessary risk. Most of us care about these people. And those that don't face punishment if they don't factor civilian presence into their go/no go criteria for operations. Its a discussion point in mission planning at every level. People get investigated for discharging firearms and punished if negligence is involved. People that make posts about the military bullying farmers have some kind of vendetta against those who serve. It's prejudice stemming from a lack of ground truth.

I really don't have a problem with anything else you've posted. Then there's this. Holy mischaracterization. This whole idea of civilian casualties gets blown way out of proportion. It happens but not too the level that media reports would lead to to believe. People know we have to pay restitution for civilian casualties and that the money they get from it is more than what they my see in six month to one year earnings. Operation happens in a rural area and these countries have no census, the families dig empty graves and stick their hand out. Local government goes to do an investigation but the politics of the situation mean their investigation is usually nothing more than being yelled at by the local elder or sheikh. Rinse. Repeat. I hate the whole argument of civilian casualties because we lost the war on publishing information here just because of pressure to not call the locals liars. Early on in Afghanistan what you categorizedin those words happened more often because WE didn't understand that culture. Farmer says how neighbor was AQ, we go execute a mission. Our source of information takes his Orange Grove and laughs because they were tribal rivals their whole lives. We caught on to that quickly.
  5. I didn't read your post first. I responded to someone else. I usually ignore what you post because I know what it's going to say before I read the content. You're predictable.
  6. If all you can do is insult me instead of talk about the issue or points I make, then feel free to hit the block button. If you don't, hmd.
  7. Just because you choose to tie someone questioning your choice of sources to the whole fake news stuff doesn't make you right, no matter how hard you pound your chest. In fact the only thing that would cause you to back away from your keyboard is if I were to agree with you because you never seem to tolerate points of view counter to your own. That's strike two against your maturity. Specifically, the article does a poor job of defining white supremacy, which leads the entire poll open to the interpretation of of the participants, making the poll subjective from the outset. Sorry I didn't read your initial post. I didn't respond to you. You interested yourself into another discussion and made yourself the center of attention. The military has policies which are enforced. If this type of behavior goes unchecked, entire commands of personnel get fired. It happens. Your original source of information posts articles about that all the time. There's an entire chain of command dedicated to all forms of conflict resolution, an IG, and congressmen. The resources are out there. Anyone who exhibits overt acts of racism or ties to ethnic nationalist groups are killing their careers.
  8. @GOOGLE JIM BOB COOTER found your source. The Military Times, Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Air Force Times are not well regarded and often an inaccurate source of information.
  9. I never projected anything as proof. I am completely aware that my original post was anecdotal. Cat's response criticzed it while doing the same thing. My original intent was to question the idea of it being rampant. That still stands firm. It absolutely is not rampant, tolerated, or even accepted. You post a number without providing a source. I've seen you do that before. Here's some concrete proof showing you that it's not tolerated: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/issuances/dodd/102002e_dodd_2015.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiJzdbYiO3aAhWHrFkKHewjDB4QFjAGegQIBRAB&usg=AOvVaw0DQ0KyYPPFd_t8qW91JLTT http://www.deomi.org https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.jag.navy.mil/distrib/instructions/OPNAV5354.1FCH-1.EO.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjota-die3aAhUPwlkKHT_aD-QQFjADegQICRAB&usg=AOvVaw1ffx2K2-3z8r0rpbIs4HwK Every service has it's own policy. Racism is also punishable under article 134 of the UCMJ. It's not rampant. It's not tolerated. It's not accepted. So much so that service members don't have to go through your chain of command for these issues to be resolved.
  10. Never said that it doesn't happen. I voiced sketpticism that it's "rampant." Projecting your experiences as proof is tantamount to the same tone of my original post. So tone down the condescension.

    Infinity Wars spoilers discussion

Tom Holland is a hell of an actor. His playing of Spider-Man has been fantastic. I haven't seen that many people cry over a superhero movie since The Dark Knight trilogy.
  12. And yet there's no proof of it being rampant. I've been in the military for more than 10 years. I've only ever seen two people punished for racist behavior. It was recent and one of them happened to be from Shelby, NC. He had only been in for two months.

Carolina Panthers select TE Ian Thomas

@Ace_Aladdin there's the second TE. This one has the potential of being the best in the draft.

    BPA Troy Fumagalli

If we draft a TE at all this needs to be the guy.
