  1. Please everyone remember this forever. Remember when Revis went to the Bucs and we all poo'd our diapers but he sucked because he can' play a cover 2 system very well? Life isn't Madden, everyone.
  2. I didn't read the content of the post because paying a CB who is nearly 30 years old nearly 50 mil Guaranteed is fuging stupid lol
  3. Both the emergence of Josh Norman and what he meant to our defense, and the injuries of Bene and Peanut and us having to sign some guys of the street. I think those two factors are what caused us to double dip at DB, and both are long armed, big bodied ball hawks that excell at off coverages and reading the QBs (Kendall Fuller is more of a press guy than these two, and doesn't fit our scheme as well as them. But hey, it's a name you know WHY DIDN'T GETTLEMAN PICK HIM AND DRAFT THESE UDFA???????) Having young, talented depth at DB behind our amazing front 7 instead of JAGs like Finnegan and McClain and god forbid, Teddy Williams. Bene, Boykin, Bradberry and Worley are much better than any DB not named Norman last year for us. And in a league where 4 wide is used more and more often each and every year, 4 talented DBs are needed. And in a divison with such amazing WRs, it's even more of a necessity. Plus the saints cockblocked us twice, so fug them. Anyway, Theives Avenue got two more Josh/Bene caliber players, and don't be surprised if we go Pharoh Cooper, Devontae Booker, or JErell Adams in the 5th. I'm personally hoping for Geronimo Allison out of Illinois, though. Reminds me a lot of Gettis pre inujry. That'll be fun. Cash could be on our Radar too.
  4. I defended Bradberry because I actually, legit, really like the guy and think he fits us like a goddamn glove. I have no idea who this is or why we traded up for him. But I'll trust Getts scouting, he's been more right than wrong.
  5. Doubt it! Probably wouldn't have made it past the Seahawks if he made it that far. Big bodied, athletic corners that have high ceilings are drafted based on potential.
  6. People were lukewarm on Norman at first, more people liked him as they watched his Costal Carolina hi Highlight vid, by the time camp rolled around everyone loved him. Bene, who we traded up for, was a literal unknown. No one had heard his name and the fact we traded up for him made people angry. But then Gettleman explained why he drafted him, because he's a goddamn beast and always around the ball, and people watched his highlights, people loved him. Some were claiming DROY. Biggest difference is no one in Birmingham has a fuging decent camera for some highlight vids of Bradberry.
  7. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HIM AND MY COUSINS NFL DRAFT SITE TOLD ME HE WAS GONNA BE AN UDFA
  8. he wasn't gonna be a FA. He wasn't even gonna be available tomorrow.
  9. FUN FACT THOUGH Huddle was lukewarm on Norman even in the 4th (probably only "lukewarm" because he was a local kid) and hated Bene in the 5th lol
  10. I love this thread so much. Even if it was a "reach" (with how the second round went tbh anything we woulda drafted would've probably been a reach) it wasn't by much, if anything a round but he wouldn't have made it out of there. He wasn't an UDFA or a 5th-6th rounder, this was a legit kid, with legit talent, and teams loved his ability and his height. but yeah believe random draft site #4000
  11. "HE CAME FROMA COLLEGE I'VE NEVER HEARD OF SO OBVIOUSLY HE WAS GOING TO BE AN UDFA/LATE ROUND PICK" lol the huddle. Gotta love it.
  12. He was always projected to be a 3rd round DB, no idea where you're getting udfa from Fam

i haven't watched anything of Harlan so it's hard to say but Bradberry is so much like Josh it's amazing Equally amazing ball skills, longer arms and an inch taller, amazing in off man/zone coverages, he's just a blast to watch.
