That was good - helps me realize that I am actually following this better than I thought I was. For me, all the damn names are hard to keep up with and when they start talking about someone, I am always thinking "now who was that person again?" I had no idea that the plastic surgeon was Rick Springfield but I knew he looked like someone but couldn't place it. I had William Fitchner on the brain.
Yeah - I was saying the same thing last night but in a strange way that almost seems too obvious even though it isn't if that makes sense. Should be a good 90 minutes next week. Frank gonna really fug some people up trying to get that $12M!
Yeah, Paul getting gunned down was a "well, so much for him" moment for me. Didn't really care. Frank, although technically a "bad guy" is actually the most likable person and pretty much the underdog that you want to cheer for. Really liked the last episode and hope it all ties together at the end. So looking to next week, I think it seems when that guy picked up the Paul's phone after gunning him down they are going to use that to lure Ani and Ray out of hiding somehow. Can't help but to think that Ani's sister and dad may not be safe (was the cop that followed them to Oregon really on Ani's side?) or Ray's son might be used as a pawn as well because Ani and Paul sent their loved ones to hiding but I don't remember Ray making sure his son was safe. All speculation but I am not sure Ray or Ani make it out of this alive. I think they blow the cover off all this corruption somehow but they give up their lives to do it or maybe Frank does something to save them (like maybe giving them his 2 plane tickets). I dunno, I am probably reading way too much into this and have watched one too many Hollywood crime dramas and the ending will be nothing like this but I just watched the episode last night so it's got me guessing
So what did you all think of the ending? I liked it,.Glad Shyamalongadingdong didn't mess it up. Only series I have ever watched besides True Detectives and I am glad I did. 10 episodes and one season of something is about perfect.
Growing up, I used to go fishing out in the Delaware Bay and Dover Air Force Base was just on the other side. All kinds of fighter jets and bombers would fly over all day long. It was cool to watch. One day, a fighter jet broke the sound barrier over the bay creating a sonic boom that was unlike anything I have ever heard/felt. A guy fishing close to us died of a heart attack and his wife went after the Air Force for it. Not sure what ever came of it though.
