  1. Are there any players on The Huddle?

How's this one?   Rah Rah Ree Kick em in the knee! Rah Rah Rass!   Kick em... in the other knee!   Too vulgar for BofA??
  2. and yet still above lawyers.... come to think of it, are there any professions that have less respect than lawyers?
  3. New Punter

Oh.. and just for the laughs: Welcome to the Panthers Swayze!
  4. I'm just trying to figure out exactly how it is to dress like Bill Murray.... I've never noticed what he wears myself. But then again, I'll readily admit I have the fashion sense of a five year old too.   (Like seriously.. Geranimals were too much for me as a kid).
  5. New Punter

Lol.. first name that popped into my mind when I read that post too!
  6. Wait.. so Voth is acting like a tantrum-throwing baby because he feels like Cam acted like a tantrum-throwing baby?   Ok... Bizarro World just happened.
  7. Well Isn't That Convenient...

#1: Not even close. It never technically hit the ground, because his hand was underneath the ball the entire time. He had control before going to ground, he maintained control at the time he hit the ground, and the ball moved after he had already turned onto his back. That is what a catch is. If you don't believe it, then please tell exactly when the ground caused the ball to slip or when his hand wasn't under the ball? Or do you deny those points entirely? #2: Norman was attempting to move past your receiver when contact was made. Contact is loosely being interpreted there, as a hand to the receiver's left arm was very, very light and ticky-tack. I guess he should have just encircled both arms around his waist, because then it wouldn't have been called. Or would it have, since that would have been done by a Panthers DB instead? #3: Really?? Finnegan had one DPI that was missed? I'm shocked! I truly thought they'd call everything against our guys that game. Must have been slipping by that time. Does that offset the 5 that weren't called against your DBs somehow?? Point being, your guys got a shitload of things go their way so the NFL could have their glory story of how "The Sheriff" rode off into the sunset with his Superbowl ring. Also, you're on a Panthers board after the game crowing that the better team won when every other person out there that isn't either a Denver fan or a Cam-hater saw it as crappy, one-sided officiating.   Why are you here, really? You won't convince anyone here that it wasn't a bullshit set up, and that we didn't get screwed over. So, why do you bother? Do you truly have that insignificant of a life?
  8. How to change my user name?

A bannable offense if I remember correctly. Looks like this person needed to get to 100 posts to start a topic, and used yours to get there.
  9. My take on the Cam Newton fumble.

I guess I'm one of those guys who doesn't a rat's ass about how he treats the press, or how he is perceived. Especially since Cam's been murdered consistently since he arrived in the league by those very same assholes who were puckering up for his butt when we were winning so much.   Cam can be Cam. I like the fire, I like the fact he hates losing so much it hurts. I don't care if he sulks, throws a temper tantrum, or starts slamming chairs in his press conferences, as long as he gives that same fire on the field. Can't tell you how sick to death I am of the QBs who sit there and act like it doesn't matter. No one is fooled, they hate losing too. Why bother with the pretense if no one's buying? To make everyone else feel better about themselves? Kind of stupid in my opinion.
  10. An Interesting Clete Blakeman Stat

Don't forget how often their DBs tackled our receivers long before the ball got there. How can a player execute when he's getting manhandled and wrapped up? The no penalties for 65% of the game is also worth noting. They didn't commit a single penalty from right before the half to the end? Seriously?? I gotta bridge for sale in Brooklyn, if you believe that one.   The most interesting stat about Clete btw, is that Manning is 6-0 now in games that he's called. Hmm.. no bias there at all, I'm sure.   http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/197554/juicy-but-irrelevant-broncos-are-5-0-in-games-with-super-bowl-50-referee-clete-blakeman   EDIT: Added URL and changed postseason to any games he's called.
  11. Racist peice of poo

Regardless of race, calling a grown man "Boy" is inflammatory and condescending, and honestly ridiculous.     That said, the context in which it was used most certainly had racist undertones. For the treble, it's Romanowski... that guy's a complete dickhead, and it wouldn't surprise me to see a white cloak and hood in his closet.
  12. Barclays Premier League- 2015/16 Season Thread

Meh.. 2 is better than 5, and we're the youngest team in the EPL. Many more years of dominance may be on the horizon. I'd love to see us do it, but as long as we improved from last year, I'll be happy. Correction Arsen: Spurs used to drop points to crappy teams. Poch has fixed that for the most part. We could slip, definitely, but we could just as easily rise to the top too. Guess we'll see at season's end whether or not we have what it takes to win it all.
  13. Will be over at my brother's house in the next town over, so won't have Huddle access. So, have fun with the thread guys, and let's all hope we enjoy a Panthers' SB win today!!
  14. Seriously bro.. how have you NOT been hired by NFL Films yet?   Terrific work as always!
  15. Voth gets hijacked by JJ Jansen

Love the comments about his Norwell interviews.. Captain Caveman doesn't need to talk with words. He talks with his smashmouth instead!   (and yeah, I'm a little biased here)
