  1. My office is sparsely decorated, but the two items I have are important. - Cam Newton-autographed helmet that my father-in-law gave me for Christmas this year. Came with a picture of him signing it and it's the old logo, so in addition to assuming its authenticity (those certificates are always legit...) I'm also assuming that it's from his rookie year. Pretty sweet. - Alien piggy bank that I found for like $5. It's my gatekeeper and faces the door... keeps unnecessary drama at bay.
  2. Ron Rivera's office

    Dat monitor.
  3. Carson Palmer wants some

Jake had come back from Tommy John surgery in 2007 and started strong, but his arm strength definitely faded as the year went on. Aside from the 2008 meltdown, Jake was always up to the challenge in big games... Palmer, not so much.
  4. Brandon Boykin to visit Falcons

Just like how they had the worst receivers last year, and we know how that turned out.
  5. Jeremy Cash moved to LB

Gah. That should be an easy, easy choice.
  6. Part of the idea (so they said) was that Shaq allowed them to stay in base defense even when the opponent goes 3-wide, so he's not incorrect. Ultimately Shaq is TD's replacement but in the near term they were hoping to use him in the buffalo nickel package.
  7. Selecting the 2016 Panthers Wide Receivers

The same teams that weren't signing Hill in 2014 and didn't give up peanuts for Norwood last year? I have no idea if Garrett is better than either of those guys and I imagine teams would prefer someone with NFL experience, but I think you're overestimating the potential value of Hill and Norwood.
  8. New DOOM

I think most Doom fans are interested in the single player anyway, as that never was a big multi-player game. Map creation and sharing, however, WAS a big part of the game and I'm glad they included the SnapMap feature. Sounds about right - get your fix of blood and guts mowing down endless hordes of zombies and super speed.
  9. Panthers Question on Jeopardy

    Anti-Carolina media bias confirmed.
  10. Cam TD celebration 5.0

  11. Panthers Release Boykin

The issue with calling it a 'failure' suggests that there was something else that could have been done and wasn't, but I've yet to hear a quality alternative. The OTs were overpriced crap that year (see: Anthony Collins) and by grinding it out that year the team is in a much better position than they would be with over-priced under-performers still on the payroll.
  12. Proehl talks about Damiere Byrd

Unless he can show some serious gains in the punt return department, his roster battle won't be with Ginn.
  13. Panthers Rookie Camp Wrapup

Klein might be worth something but Jacobs is not and it's tough to imagine them going into the season with zero veteran depth, and the same situation applies to the CBs... Gettleman doesn't cur draft picks. Garrett, however, I could see sneaking into the 53. As we're seeing though, anything seems to be possible these days.
