Stew is our main guy and we're arguing over the number 2 RB role, a position the Panthers put more focus and attention into more than any other team in the league. He's aging, set to make 2 mil and he's not under contract next year. It's pretty clear what to do here
If Ron is serious about having tough conversations on RB cuts like the thread I made, he needs to evaluate every single player not named Stew(of course he's not going anywhere this season) IMO, I love tolbert but he'll be 30 in November and we free up cap space. He's not a FB, Ward should be starting there and if they keep him on he needs to be number 2 RB, but I'm trying to think what do we lose losing Tolbert, what if Ward goes down?
This isn't an ACL injury, potentially career ending injury so that's very sad for him and it hurts us depth wise. Addison isn't an every down down DE at-least not last year he wasn't and Ealy isn't ready yet. Star still no info yet, which means he's out indefinitely so that leaves KK to do some work, but CJ will be getting doubled heavy
