  1. The Braves

That game last night was every bit of EPIC. I'll never forget it, that's for sure.
  2. The Braves

When I posted that they were second behind Texas. That was before the game last night.
  3. The Braves

The Braves are first in the National League in runs scored... pure awesomeness. I'm surprised at Uggla's alarming number of errors so far this season, too, but I'm sure he'll get that straightened out. Last night I couldn't make it through the game - I had to be at work at 6:00 this morning, so I fell asleep in the 7th inning and had to look up the final score this morning... these 9:40 west coast games are killer.

  5. The Braves

I'm so ready for Bravesball to start up again... I've been reintroduced to the sport as of last season - I was a huge fan as a boy in the 80's and 90's, but when the steroid scandal hit, I lost interest. I was more into chasing women than checking scores at that point in my life, but now I'm back. I've been to two games since I moved to Georgia... I plan on going to at least that many this season. I think the Braves will finish behind Philadelphia - as much as I hate them and the city, I don't think they'll take too many steps backward this year. This new 2-wild card system basically makes Atlanta a lock for the playoffs IMO. If Uggla has a consistent season at the plate, our offense is going to be pretty good. We have a lot of depth and I am excited about seeing what Pastornicky can do. Alex Gonzalez was atrocious in the batters box... his defense was amazing. That's going to be hard to replace, so I hope Pastornicky is up to it. Anyway, I'm kinda new to the Braves club, so I look forward to discussing the up coming season with you guys.

  7. Carolina Panther card/memorbilla/auto's collectors...

Thanks man! They had an open equipment room sale after practices when they were at the RecZone, everything you would want is there but usually the high profile players' stuff is either put aside for silent auctions, charity auctions or for people who know people. Well, there is a guy in Raleigh who knows people and he sold them to me at a reasonable profit. I checked with the assistant equipment manager, Jorge, before I bought them to make sure they were legit. He said they were - Skinner actually wears an 8 1/2 on his right foot and a 9 on his left. I have a Cam Ward stick used against the Bruins in the 2009 playoffs that I got from him, too. I got the Gleason gloves, Sergei Samsonov gloves and a few sticks from one of those equipment sales. I am pretty sure they still do it, but not as often. You have to be on a mailing list to know when they open the doors to the public and I'm on the list. But since I'm now in Georgia, it doesn't do me much good.

  10. What Are You Listening To Right Now....

You inspired me! Here are my 4 favorite 1980's pop songs.
  11. What Are You Listening To Right Now....

I'm not a Beatles fan, but two of my favorites here in PFR and Phil Keaggy with an awesome remake of a hippie classic.

  13. What Are You Listening To Right Now....

Oh, right... it was Operation Mindcrime II (2006). I didn't realize there were two of them. OK, Sabaton now.
  14. What Are You Listening To Right Now....

I took my sister to see Queensryche at the House of Blues when that album came out. She was a huge fan. After the horrible (as usual) opening act was done, we got an ear full of how evil George Bush is and a lot of politics from the lead singer instead of a concert. They played the entire album and paused in between every song to talk... it was unbearable. I just wanted to leave. She didn't like it either. It's not a matter of what your political opinion is... we bought a pair of tickets to see a music concert, not an anti-Bush rally. Anyway... here is some Dream Evil In Flames You Burn (awesome lyrics)
