  1. Panthers Pro Bowl Updates

I have wondered for years why we have never taken over the pro bowl voting like we did that stupid uniform contest.
  2. Panthers Pro Bowl Updates

Cam, Tolbert, Oher, Turner, Norwell, Kalil, Olsen, Short, Davis, Kuechly, Norman, Coleman and Webb.   Crazy.....
  3. Panthers Pro Bowl Updates

Appearantly the Panthers have 13 players in the top 2 at each position.
  4. Jets waive Quentin Coples

When a player is released midseason, The teams can option to take on his current contract.  Teams are lined up in reverse order of current NFL standings, so that if more than one team claims him, he will go to the team with the higher waiver order. If he clears waivers, his contract is nullified and he becomes a FA, free to sign a new contract.
  5. Here we go....who wins and the final score

    38-17 Panthers!
  6. Jets waive Quentin Coples

Absolutely nothing in the news about him.  Some rumors about Raiders and Falcons, but nothing substantial.
  7. Jets waive Quentin Coples

If Norwell is healthy, we may be able to cut Velasco, Scott, or Silatolu.
  8. Jets waive Quentin Coples

We currently have 6 DEs and 4 DTs on the roster.  This is already one DE too many for what we normally keep.     Charles Johnson, Kony Ealy, Jared Allen, Mario Addison, Wes Horton, and Ryan Delaire.   We will likely cut a DE to officially make room for CJ.  Probably Horton.  So, who do we cut for Coples?  We need our depth at other positions for STs. Unless the 290 pounder can play kick coverage, I don't know if he is worth cutting Addison or Delaire.
  9. Give Cam the MVP

Naw, did you see how bad DA played yesterday!?!  He came in for one series, went 3 and out and it resulted in a safety.  Garbage!               Lol
  10. Randomely met 3 Panther fans at the Bdubs here in Houston.
  11. 10-OHHHHH so SWEET PIE!

  12. Week 11 - Who to Root For

If the Panthers win their next 3 games (12-0).  (Redskins, @Cowboys, and @Saints) and the Falcons lose 2 of their next 3 (7-5) (Colts, Vikings, @Bucs) the Panthers could seal the division in week 13.
  13. The Panthers for the second half of the season

I am ready to see a bigger contribution from the youth on this team.  CAP, Wegher, Benwikere, Thompson, Delaire, etc.
  14. I find it interesting that many of you say we need Stewart because no one else on the team has shown any promise.  None of the other RBs have been given a shot.  Hell, for the last few games, CAP hasn't even been active.  IMO we need to rest Stew up some, give these young RBs a turn in the backfield.  Lets see what CAP and Wegher can do before we write them off.  If they prove to have the talent, we wouldn't need to keep Stew around next year.  It would be better to have that option, than to have it forced.
  15. A couple questionable decision from yesterday game

J-Stew needs a holiday.  Personally, I want to see more CAP.  We need some fresh legs at RB.  We keep running Stew like this and he will be done by the playoffs
