What does race have anything to do with anything? Financial stability is a bad thing? The only thing libertarianism has in common with [traditional] conservatism is its economic values. It has nothing in common with neoconservatism however, which most R's and D's in office currently subscribe to. Asides from that it's social stances are very left leaning, making it a combination of the best of both worlds.

Because Sanders economic plan is completely unrealistic, especially for a nation teetering on the edge of another economic collapse. Plus I don't like the idea of that much government control.

Admittedly I don't know much about his highway program. But even if that was a failure, I'm sure he's learned his lesson from that experience. And what point are you trying to make anyways? That Hillary or Trump is better than him because that? I know there's no way you think that. Or at least I'd hope.

No not especially...but more importantly what he does stand for is reducing the number of people in prison in the first place; and the first way he'd handle that is by decriminalizing drugs. What should've been done first was to end the war on drugs before creating private prisons and you wouldn't have much of the problems private prisons can create. BUT, this is the most trivial issue of his there is to point out. If the worst policy view he has is private prisons, then that already makes him a billion times better than Hillary's corrupt, warmongering, corporate sell-out ass...and Trump for obvious reasons. Overall he has a very impressive resume with what he had done in NM. The people of that state loved him. Reducing taxes $123 million annually. Cutting the rate of government growth in half. Eliminating the state's budget deficit. Leaving the state government with 1200 fewer employees (without firing anyone). Leaving the state government with all-time high bond ratings. Enacting major welfare reform, which cut government welfare spending by 30%. Shifting state Medicaid to managed care. Bringing the New Mexico state government and the Navajo nation governments together to finally resolve century-old disputes over water, gaming, and other issues. Privatizing half of the prisons in the state. Shooting down campaign finance legislation. Increasing the percentage of the budget devoted to improving the state's education system. Repealing the Little Davis-Bacon Act, thereby allowing non-unionized labor the ability to be employed in construction of new schools and other public works. Overseeing the construction of 500 miles of new, four-lane highway (designed, financed, built, and guaranteed by the private sector).

    Oh and you're ridiculous too.
  6. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

The whole racist bit is so old and cliché. Surely you can come up with something better than that right?
  7. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

    Haha great word right?
  8. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

I just don't see what possible rationale you have to see things that way. That's a wild opinion PhillyB. In my view, Hillary is at the very bottom. Fact: She has the worst political track record than anyone running for office. There's no disputing that. Just barely above her is Trump, who is an unknown with politics. He has no track record with political office and we really don't know what we're going to get with him. I don't think there's much disputing that either. And then there's Gary Johnson who is up in the stratosphere compared to the both of them for obvious reasons. But hey, that's just my humble opinion.

Status quo foreign policy is the destabilization of middle eastern nations for corporate and geopolitical gain. And yes, you're right, it is extremely corrupt. You're not cool with that are you? You made it sound like you were. And by domestic progress you must mean putting the needs of the corporations ahead of the American people, right? I mean, we should all know by now the only interests Hillary is looking out for are those of her corporate handlers, wouldn't you agree? I don't see how that's a positive at all. Basically everything she stands for is anti-humanitarian and pro-promoting herself. Considering all this, I don't see how you don't at least view her as being on par with Trump if not worse, since she already has a political track record of evil and corruption and screwing the American people. So, with all that being said, how can you not view Gary Johnson as being the superior candidate by literally a billion fold? Is it the party label that scares you? If that's the case i'll give you a hint: Party labels don't matter anymore. Especially when it comes to dems and pubs because those corporate sell outs have more than proven to be one in the same. At this point it comes down to choosing someone who is gonna represent the people, or choosing someone who is going to represent the corporations.

Haha yea that would probably be a good idea huh? But seriously, how can you honestly consider Hillary? She's literally the physical representation of evil and the worst politics has to offer.
  11. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

    Crazy
  12. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

Your comment confuses me. You just noted a terrible evil of government, then proceeded to say it's "extremely childish" to believe that government is bad. And no offense, but if you're "not sure enough to say," then you are not that aware/knowledgeable of the political environment of this country.
  13. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

You gotta at least admit he's literally a billion times better than Trump and Hillary
  14. #FEELTHEJOHNSON

Man this is awesome. If there was ever a chance for a 3rd party candidate to do something it would be now. Trump and Clinton are the best competition he could ever ask for. Johnson is currently polling at 10%. If he hits 15% he'll qualify for the national debates.
