It had more to do with him acting as if Jones has only been a monster for 3 games than anything else. It's not a 3 game bandwagon. Jones averaged 100 YPG 2 years in a row prior to this year, albeit 2013 was shortened by injury. Besides, by discrediting Jones, you are also taking away from how much more impressive it was that Norman shut him down twice. So in a way I'm still sticking up for Norman.
Regardless, I just flat out don't care if the media ignores Norman or not. It's really not a big deal.
Jared Allen is one of the greatest pass rushers of all-time and has been in the NFL since 2004. It isn't like defensive end is a complicated position schematically and I doubt there is much, if any, terminology you can throw at Allen that he wouldn't be familiar with. I find it very unlikely he doesn't play Sunday.
Clowney had the best game of his career against Oher. If Watt had lined up against him, Watt probably would have had a much better game than he did too. This has nothing to do with not having hope. I think the rest of our offensive line is doing extremely well. However, Oher simply isn't a good player. Just because he might suck less than Bell doesn't mean he still doesn't suck or at the very least, is a liability at left tackle. I don't know why some of you have a hard time accepting this. The #'s back it up. The on-field play backs it up. He's one of the lowest rated left tackles on PFF. I'm not just spouting nonsense. He's without a doubt the worst player on the offensive line and it is very possible Cam Jordan, the Saints best player on D, will wreck him.
Eh, I understand that strategy with Kuechly but it's been forever since Star played in a game. If he's healthy, it'd be in our best interests to get him in there before the roughest part of our schedule. Plus the bye week is right around the corner so it will give him even more time to rest.
