Remains to be seen how Quinn will handle being a head coach of both sides of the football on gamedays without one of the best secondaries the NFL has seen. As we've come to learn with our own defensive coordinator turned head coach, that is not an automatic thing guys just figure out on the fly. To further reinforce this idea, look at how good the Seahawks have been since Pete Carroll took over. You either have it as a head coach or you don't.
I still just do not get the obsession with the need to flaunt the flag, especially in a war that was lost. It honestly only further serves to isolate these individuals from the rest of the country. It's 2015, maybe it's time to move the hell on, and stop living in the 1860's? Let history reside where it should, in a museum. The fact that this even has to be stated is simply sad. What about people alive today who had ancestors who fought with the Union? I don't know about you guys, but I sure haven't seen too many people flaunting that history in their everyday lives. If it's on a Civil War memorial for soldiers who actually fought in the war, that's one thing. But some jackass riding around with it in the back of his truck? It's trashy. Call it what it is.
Yeah it was really awful this weekend when I tried to get on. Main one was Uber, and that was just about every time you loaded a page. But browsing on mobile yesterday, and today, I am having no troubles.
Yeah, this combined with the city losing the Hornets because of stupid poo is why I lost interest in the NBA for a long time. The NBA has been trying to get back to those days for years now, but it just isn't happening. Honestly one of the biggest reasons why is the way the draft is handled, the lottery is rigged horseshit, just call it what it really is.
Ainge has been desperately trying to save face after all this. We weren't the only team to decline their "offer", they tried to get the Knicks to bite too. I don't blame us for staying at 9. If there is anyone who should feel embarrassed about this, it's the Celtics.
