  1. A little Dab of turkey

    Edit: originally from Panthers Twitter.
  2. Official Panthers at Cowboys Gameday Thread

Win, lose, or draw, hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Giddyup.
  3. I didn't realize Deadpool was the Dallas QB coach...

I thought it was the character the band Disturbed used in their marketing, honestly.
  4. Cowboys Week: Let's do this

What good NFL team are we talking about here? Because I was pretty sure we were going up against a god awful Dallas Cowboys that were so actually terrible that they were inspiring fans to declare Tony fuging Romo as some kind of savior. There is nothing about your team that can be described as "good"
  5. Cowboys Week: Let's do this

Anyone who cares that the Cowboys won the Super Bowl 20 years ago is either dead or should be. The Panthers last beat the Cowboys in 2004. That length of time is "almost" the same as saying 11 is "almost" the age of consent. And I do hope we have better luck in our next game against the Cowboys. I more hope we have better refs (we wont, oh well). And if the best you can throw out is debating the origin of the name Dallas, you need better ways to defend your city. That's pathetic.
  6. Ron Rivera "We're leaning towards starting CJ and Allen."

I don't know, Gettleman has shown a tendency to try and fill team needs first through FA and the take the BPA (that fits) in the draft. I don't think we'll ever see him save a "need" to be strictly answered by a draft pick. We'll see :)
  7. That's a pretty cool stat for Romo to have in his pocket, not gonna lie. Write ups for those two games:
  8. Lions Hire Ernie Accorsi

    Can't argue with success.
  9. Ron Rivera "We're leaning towards starting CJ and Allen."

Thought it would be a return to the set up from the first of the year, but as was pointed out by Ship, it does make more sense to leave Ealy where he's looked better and be the primary spell for CJ, and let Allen handle the right while being primarily relieved by Delaire, with Addisson being extra rotation primarily on passing downs. At least, that's how it's working out in my head now.
  10. Ron Rivera "We're leaning towards starting CJ and Allen."

Post made a lot of sense. Gut feeling is Gettleman will look to FA more than the draft.
  11. Ron Rivera "We're leaning towards starting CJ and Allen."

Really thought if anything Johnson would replace Allen.
  12. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

Sam Mills was part of one of the greatest LB corps in history when he was down in NOLA, was a premier player when he was in Carolina, went on to be one of the more respected posistional coach around the league, and since his death has become one of the central figures in a team's culture. That's to say nothing of his actual battle with cancer. He has a definite shot, and a much better one than Greene ever will.
  13. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

I don't know, I really think Mills has a shot at making it in. Won't be surprised if he doesn't, but the "inspirational" narrative is going to carry him far, me thinks.
  14. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

You kinda have to go Mills over Greene. Greene was a very good player, but Mills was legendary both on and off the field.
