  1. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

Sam Mills was part of one of the greatest LB corps in history when he was down in NOLA, was a premier player when he was in Carolina, went on to be one of the more respected posistional coach around the league, and since his death has become one of the central figures in a team's culture. That's to say nothing of his actual battle with cancer. He has a definite shot, and a much better one than Greene ever will.
  2. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

I don't know, I really think Mills has a shot at making it in. Won't be surprised if he doesn't, but the "inspirational" narrative is going to carry him far, me thinks.
  3. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene are HOF semifinalists

You kinda have to go Mills over Greene. Greene was a very good player, but Mills was legendary both on and off the field.
  4. What Cowboys Fans Are Saying

Ok, fine, so Romo is the third least terrible QB the Panthers will face, arguably the fourth. Yay.
  5. and so it begins

Nice article. Shame they didn't include Luke dressed as Cam for Halloween as another example, but oh well. Edit: or Braylon dancing at Fan Fest. God, this really has been a fun year.
  6. Frank Alexander - Suspended for 1 year

So he's suspended from being injured? Is that like reverse psychology?
  7. Yeesh. Absolutely no time for a new guy to really even meet his new team mates, much less get any kind of practice or rhythm going.
  8. What Cowboys Fans Are Saying

Well, that smack thread was incredibly bland.  He did quote me though, so that classed the place up a touch.
  9. Week 12 Power Rankings

By the by, I was more commenting that it was interesting that the entire Patriots write up was about the Panthers. I agree with the ranking.
  10. Week 12 Power Rankings Outside of "reigning super bowl champs", the entire thing is just an explanation why the Panthers aren't #1, not why the Patriots are. Interesting, eh?
  11. What Cowboys Fans Are Saying

They are painfully dumb. It physically hurts me to experience that level of idiocy.
  12. Needs to be said. Twice.
  13. August 13, 2011 Preseason Game 1 at home against the Giants. This was the NFL debut of one Cam Newton (2nd on the depth chart behind the mighty Jimmy Clausen) who had a mediocre showing leading a couple of field goal drives. Highlight of the night was rookie receiver Kealoha Pilares juking Giants' Ninth stringers out of their shoes en route to a 35 yard touchdown off of a Derek Anderson pass. We were crowning Pilates as the eventual replacement for Steve Smith and debating whether or not Cam should sit a year while DA was the starter the next week. Good times.
  14. Undefeated Watch pt.2: Bills v Patriots

No, it's entirely our scheme. Its what the team has been building since Rivera and Cam got here. This is the product that has been 5 years in the making. We don't run a checkdown friendly offense. We live and die by the run and by the deep pass (I'm honestly struggling to remember if it's an AC or EP scheme, have to refresh the brain) Yes, there are flaws. But what you're looking for is a complete rebuild and change of offensive philosophy. I'd rather not go through that again any time soon, especially coming off the first two time division championship in the history of the NFCS, and definitely not during the first 10-0 start in team history (with an offense that is scoring points left and right, mind you). You want to see more checkdowns, you'll need to go somewhere else. This team isn't built for it.
