Yeah the ball may have been tipped but you're missing the point that he doesn't catch the ball with his hands well and that he tries to use his chest to catch it.

All I'm saying is there is a reason he went Undrafted and he needs to start catching the ball away from his body with his hands if he wants to be any good

Faster sideline to sideline LBs are starting to take over the position and add in that he has great instincts...
he has a chance to be great

I think to start we should come out running the read option and play action and get the ball moving a little because the first two series almost always result in a punt
that being said we aren't going to do that kind of stuff until the regular season starts

I wish Cam Wake lined up against Oher. It would have given us a much better looks at how good he really is. Our division doesn't have great pass rushers so he should do just fine this year as should the rest of the line

how is Fozzy overhyped? No one said he was a good starting running back. His role is to catch some screens and make some big plays every once in a while like he did last year against Arizona and a few other times. I'm not saying he should make this team because he's got some really good players pushing him but he is not overhyped. He was more just a fan favorite with his awesome name and Darren sproles like plays.
Philly is terrible though. He trys to catch everything with his chest and is uncomfortable extending his hands for a ball away from him. You have to hit him right in the chest perfectly in stride for him to maybe catch it

Jarrett Boykin looked great but I have to give Mike Brown some props too. He looks like a pretty good slot receiver

I'm really liking Boykin and Mike Brown and I hate to have to choose only 4 RBs because I like all of them

Klein looks really good as did Shaq Thompson. It's nice to have great depth and some competition

Funchess Boykin and Ginn is solid. I think Philly Brown is terrible even though a lot of you guys love him. He doesn't extend his hands to make catches and uses his chest too much

Boykin is looking pretty good. I like him better than chest catching Philly Brown

  12. panthers34 added a post in a topic This "running game" everyone keeps bringing up

He's built like a linebacker so he'll do just fine if he has around 10-12 carries a game espcilally since he'll slid/dive down untouched on half of them

Shaq Thompson has a big game and Ted Ginn has a long touchdown. I could see Bersin doing well too since him and Cam have solid chemistry together

agree to disagree because it was just a freak accident and that's all. Tight ends would be tearing their acls all the time if 6'5" 250 was too big for someone to be running routes.
