  1. Is Kalil 100%?

Yeah, Kalil definitely had a bad game.  Gave up the sack, had a holding penalty that brought back a 1st down, and the two previously mentioned delay of game penalties with Cam screaming for the ball for several seconds before the clock went to :00.
  2. Resting players vs 16-0

Go for 16-0.  It's that "treat every game like you're 0-0 trying to get to 1-0" that's gotten us to where we are.  Never a fan of resting guys.  Once you take your foot off the gas and willingly concede that it's okay to lose, I think it's tough to mentally get that edge back.  I'm not saying that resting guys definitely cost the Manning-era Colts some Super Bowls, but it didn't help.
  3. Official Panthers at Cowboys Gameday Thread

Bene is getting abused by that quick slant.  He's been beaten badly by that route three times on this drive.
  4. ESPN Playoff Machine

I've learned my lesson about wishing for specific opponents.  Remember how happy most of us were to face Arizona in '09?  That team was a wild card that ended up falling 4 points short of a Super Bowl championship.  We got rekt.
  5. Ron Rivera "We're leaning towards starting CJ and Allen."

Not a big fan of it.  Kony has been our best DE recently.  Ultimately though, who starts doesn't matter.  They'll rotate and the guys playing best will end up getting the most snaps as the game wears on.
  6. The greg hardy vs michael oher matchup

I'm not sure why it seems like so many people think Hardy is so familiar with our offense.  He's not.  He'd be more familiar with opposing NFC South offenses that he was actually preparing to face twice a season while in Carolina.  The Carolina offense was the one he was least concerned with as a Panther because it was the one offense he definitely wasn't going to face on the field.
  7. Frank Alexander - Suspended for 1 year

That's it, he's done.  He was probably already done even prior to this, but this is definitely the icing on the cake.
  8. Undefeated Watch pt.2: Bills v Patriots

McKelvin is as shaky fielding punts as Bersin was last year.
  9. Undefeated Watch pt.2: Bills v Patriots

What did the camera catch that rwf saying during the 3rd and short measurement?  Sounded like "Make it look good for TV." Calling a sweep with your power back on 3rd and inches?  You deserve to lose.
  10. Gano's leg strength

  11. Undefeated Watch pt.2: Bills v Patriots

Bills just missing too many opportunities and leaving too many points on the field.  Should have 17 points right now. One wide open TD missed due to a poorly thrown ball and another TD missed due to a dropped pass.  Not to mention the INT overturned due to penalty and the missed FG. The NFL is gonna have to change their grounding rules due to Brady.  Dude abuses them.
  12. The Stupid Double Standard in the Media

This.  No one cared about the Pats until Parcells came to town.  They'd endured a decade of irrelevancy leading up to that.
  13. Panthers sign Ras-I Dowling

The thing about Jones on that play is that he never had a chance.  He didn't get burned because of poor coverage or blowing an assignment, he got burned because he stumbled.  It sucks, but poo happens.
  14. Panthers sign Ras-I Dowling

Tillman is 34.  This is almost certainly his last season.  Bene plays better on the outside.  We may be looking for a new nickel and our D has had success playing with a safety in the nickel position.  Seems like Dowling is a CB/safety hybrid.  Worth a look in our D.
  15. This.  One of the best individual defensive performances I've ever seen at any level.  The man was EVERYWHERE in that Super Bowl.  It seemed like he made every Panthers tackle that day. You can tell the recent Panthers fans because they don't get all dreamy eyed followed by slight sadness when the Morgan's name is mentioned
