  1. Cam made those statements last week and the media is making his point this week.
  2. My CEO is Cooler Than Yours

    I won't be working Monday
  3. I'll just leave this here

Don't worry, our other resident haters Pete Prisco and KC Joyner picked denver.
  4. Cam Newton disappointed me

if this really crushed your kids you can send a letter to Danny Morrison about it and I bet you will at least get a response back.
  5. Cam Newton disappointed me

He's clearly tired of the distractions that go along with super bowl week.  On a typical road game these guys fly in Saturday, play Sunday and leave after the game.  They've been in SF all week and have been answering questions for 2 weeks.  I can imagine they are all getting irritated by being out of routine and anxious to just play the game.  That being said, I would watch from afar but not approach a star athlete in public unless it was clear that they were talking to the public at that time.  They are humans like everyone else and probably don't want to be "on" 24/7.
  6. We finally beat that SOB

http://m.shelbystar.com/news/20160131/hornets-week-feb-1-7   33-5 against charlotte before tonight.  last win against him was Feb 19th 2010, nearly 6 years ago.
  7. We finally beat that SOB

good job by the refs letting Cleveland hang around and allowing LeBron to barrel through and run over any defenders on his path to the basket.
  8. If someone could afford this why wouldn't they just go to the damn game?
  9. Looks like I'm not the only one

I remember the time he shamed Fox into giving him a new truck.  Ever since then I've had a bit of a negative perception of this guy although I've never met him.
  10. Marty Hurney

I view Hurney like an unpopular president.  His legacy has been shaped in the years sinice he's left the job.  I'd say hes gone from nearly unanimous disapproval to lots of conflicted feelings.  His cap management was awful but his eye for talent, esp in the first round, was unmatched.  I think also he had the wrong coach in fox when he started to attempt a rebuild circa 2009, when the wheels really fell off.  Fox only wanted vets on the roster and I don't think would have ever seriously considered drafting and grooming a franchise QB.
  11. MKG be back tonight and stuff

Good thing they got clifford locked up with that contract extension.
  12. Interesting conversation in early 2012

not nearly as far off as a lot of the trash that was being thrown around at that time.
  13. Ron Rivera's Neighbors Decorate His Lawn

  14. The 12s just won't let it go...

Lol and it's all downhill for them from this point on.  I don't see many guys on that defense willing to give hometown discounts to avoid the incoming salary cap hell.
  15. Anyone else going to watch the SB alone?

The problem for me, and I assume others like me who have small children, is that we just don't socialize as much as we used to.  The other problem that has been mentioned is how annoying it is watching the game with casuals or even people who know nothing about football, thus spending 90% of the game talking about commercials or answering basic level questions about football.  Not an enjoyable experience.   for me I normally watch alone.  My old college buddy is having a party at his house in LKN so I will go down there for that.  If that wasn't the case I would be watching alone.  My wife doesn't care about football and knows to leave me alone, esp. during a game of this magnitude.
