Maybe I just read into it too much and it really doesn't matter for the point I was trying to make but.... It looked to me like Cam messed up because he called the RB and FB back to rerun the play (and waived off next group up.) Derek stepped in at QB and turned the way Cam didn't the play before.
Agreed and if I'm not mistaken the defender typically has the unfair advantage without pads on. That's why I watched the receiver drills on the other side of the field.... bc these pass rushing/blocking drills without pads isn't really going to show much.
Josh Norman also had a really nice interception on a long ball. I believe Cam or Derek threw it and I believe Corey Brown was the intended target. Hard to see that far but Lake Norman looked pretty psyched up.
Your misuse of the word jingoism "is this is"? disgusting.
Just because you learn a new word doesn't mean you need to use first chance you get.
Also Igo, do you know why Cam wears long sleeves and leggings and poo when its almost 90 degrees outside? This dude dresses like he's in an entirely different climate than the rest of us. I was sweating my ass off in shorts and shortsleeves just sitting in the bleachers.
We looked good. Someone threw the ball to Cam when he was standing on the sideline and Cam pulled this super athletic body-contorting 1-handed catch. Then did the Are you not entertained look to the crowd. That was awesome. Cam's mechanics looked overall really good and he was hitting receivers in their bellys instead of making them jump.
But theres always room for improvement and I think it's the fact that at times hit appears he lacks a surgical focus. He turned the wrong way on a handoff in a drill and missed the play. He walks around like he doesn't really give a poo sometimes and he's not really dialed in to improving his game right now. He has all the ability in the world and that can be to his detriment sometime because he doesn't practice like he has something to prove. Seems like he just kinda wants to show off sometime.
I saw TD coaching up Shaq a good bit. During LB drills Shaq was lining up against Glanton so I think they are the 2 frontrunners to start next to Luke and TD. Shaq looks big enough for LB and definitely bigger than a safety should be.
Funchess is a tall man. Funchess looked to get more run with the 1s than Bersin or Corey Brown. Looked to have good chemistry with Cam already but Cam looked pretty good generally so could just be a good day for Cam.
Those were the 2 rookies I was really watching. And Artis-Payne really didn't stand out to me amongst our deep rb group.
Jonathan Stewart looked bulkier than I've seen him in awhile. Straight muscle. Tolbert is Mr. Consistency. Always looks the same, never hurt, and with a smile on his face. Today Fozzy really stood out to me. He runs so fluidly and is sooooo fast. The guy just flys down the field and it doesn't even look like he's breaking a sweat.
I wonder where Artis-Payne fits into all this? He didn't look bad out there today but definitely looks 4th string atm.
My conspiracy theory was that Chancellor and others were threatening holdouts to get Wilson to realize he can't have all the money or he'll have no other good players left in Seattle. Looks like this may have worked out.... or I'm totally wrong and Seattle is about to implode which is good for us.
