  1. Trading up with the Titans

First we already did this trade last year moving up 16 spots the 9th overall 2nd round spot and it cost them their 2nd, 3rd, and 6th same year, so it should be about the same. Also The Gett Man has yet to trade away future picks and the 3rd comp is not a guarantee; injury and crap play can effect the it and I don't see Gett as a gambling man.
  2. What position did you play?

Iwas startingquick guard and back up DE/DT 4-3 my senior year. Our O-line looked like this TE QG C SG T OT the strong side would switch based on the play. Also I got Honorable Mention for All County as a guard at 6 foot 140 lbs. I pulled well and run blocked almost perfect every game but sucked at pass blocking seeing as I was so tiny. Funny story I was supposed to start my junior year but I would run block too high and get pushed around (140 lbs). While on JV during half-timethe coach pulled me aside and told me to block lower and stop getting pushed around (he sounded pissed). To show him I was already doing my bestI bear crawled for the rest of the game on run plays. After the game he congratulated me and said if I had done that all year I would have been starting on varsity. My greatest moment was when I blocked an extra point by tricking the guard. I lined up outside shoulder and shot the inside gap. I went through clean, blocked the kick, and had a painful red mark with jersey lines just above my arm pit; hurt like hell.

  5. When and Why to make Noise

At first I almost went with the huddle but they are grouped together to block out the noise and are in tight together. Now after they break the huddle or from the no huddle offense get loud. Crowd noise will affect a QBs ability to change the play from the line more than anything else. I will not be handing this out because I will not be at the game, I live a few hours away. This does sound like a job for the Roaring Riot or someone who knows someone that can slip this into the programs. Although this site does get a lot of traffic so you never really know if it will help and there has been some discussion which is cool.
  6. After readinghow toMaximize Your NoiseI feel I should remind people when and whymaking noisehelps and hurts teams. When our team is on offense you should be silent from huddle to tackle. This helps our team call plays, make adjustments, and communicate during the play. Yes the offensive line communicates during the play so save it till the play is over. I know you are exited and want to cheer for Cam to drive the field or get a third down but silence will actually help him and the team. It can also help with the hard count causing some defenders to jump giving up free yards and all you have to do is be silent. With big plays, first downs, penalties in our favor, and of coursetouchdownsmake sure to rock the house to motivate our team while demoralizing theirs. The defense is a bit more complex but I will try and keep it short. Save your voice by knowing when to get loud to be the most effective. Start making noise whenthe offense comes to the line and continue till the hand off or pass then cheer the tackle (unless it is a big play for them). Holding back on first down (still make noise) and getting louder on third down will save your voice some. Always get as loud as you can when you see the QB changing the play, you will see him step up, yell, look around, or do hand signals (still get loud the O-line and WR will talk to make sure they are on the same page). With big hits, tackles for a loss, stuffing a third down, penalties in our favor, sacks, interceptions, and fumblesmake sure to rock the house to motivate our team while demoralizing theirs. Stay as loud as possible when they are in the Red Zone. If done right you can screw up a play or force a timeout and that is what home field advantage is all about. Do get loud for penalties in our favor nothing hurts worse than screwing up on this stage and having some 60k+fans pointit out to you. All of themeven if you don't think it matters, get loud. You can get into players heads with that causing more screw ups. I always remember announcers talking about how quite it was for Peyton Manning when he was on the field in Indy everyone could hear his voice clearly; we have to be like that. Also if you areat the gamefix anyone around you that is screwing up. This applies for all 4 quarters get started early, no matter the score up or down, and leave it all behind in the fourth quarter to seal the deal. They can hear you and it motivates them. You can affect the game. Remember if the fans don’t quit there is no way the players will and if no one quits there will always be a chance to win.

  11. 2014 vs 2015 - Panthers Offensive Line

At this time last yearthey had two question marks fighting for the LT spot with the loser getting the RT with no depth (other than an injury prone kid, that was still worse than Bell and Chandler, and a project). We had Amini and Scott at the guard spots with one failing to live up to his draft spot and the other a back up at best (well both are back ups at best). Nowthey have a solid inside with depth and a RT spot with at worse Remmers who played well. The only question mark is the LT spot where even Bell looked almostaverage when the other four spots were locked down. If Oher can play as well as Bellthey should be fine. If he plays better than Bellthey could be scary good. This is the first year in a long time thatthey have options, depth, and continuity. Starting to get over excited for the season...
