  1. 2016 NFL DRAFT ROUND 4 GENERAL DISCUSSION

I suspect G-Man feels like he can address other needs in UDFA, after the draft is over. He's been pretty good at finding the right cogs to plug into the machine in past seasons that way.
  2. Maybe it's just me, but after Charles re-signed with us, I seemed to see a lightness in his interviews, like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. I think him coming back healthy, with CJ feeling good about where he's at, I expect him to put up respectable numbers (if not the high sack totals we grew used to in the past). I think perhaps just as important, his veteran leadership will help production among the other D-linemen, an intangible benefit that a guy like him brings to the table.
  3. Business is business with Gettleman

    I love our GM.
  4. Proper way to respond to "Keep Pounding"

How about: "All day, all night"?
  5. PLEAE tell me this jerk is not wearing a Panthers jersey...

Sympathies to the young woman's family. If heeded drunk he needs to take a big hit for it.

  6. Brews and Bruhs - Now Open

Generally speaking, I am of the opinion there are two kinds of beer int he world - your kind and the free kind. Tell me more about that pair of hips in the photo at the top of this post!
  7. The difference is that Mr. Richardson has a sense of what is right and wrong, and the kind of people he wants to have associated with this team. I'm not saying I always agree with him, but I respect his position when it comes to the organization he leads. And while I have mixed feelings about the Hardy situation, in general I do agree that character matters. This was not Greg's first brush with conduct that painted himself and the organization in a bad light. Other than combat, I can't think of any other situation where the end always justifies the means (and in civilized societies, there are even limits to what you can morally do in combat, too). Football is a game, and one that exerts a great deal of influence on the fans who watch it - particularly young ones - whether we like it or not. The Carolina Panthers are owned by a man who expects a certain standard to be maintained by those who work for him. I hate to see Greg go, but his problems are of his own making, and I respect Mr. Richardson's position on the matter. With Dean Smith's loss today, I think it's easy to point out that winning and having good character are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
  8. The Huddle Gameday Live - Buffalo Bills Edition

I'm losing confidence in Barner. He just doesn't seem to have the size or vision to get it done. Sent from my iPhone using CarolinaHuddle
  9. Getting Defensive - Arizona Cardinals

God write up. I agree on all points. Speaking as someone who was about thirty yards away when Kraken laid that smack down on Carson last year (it rattled MY fillings, not mention what it did to Palmer), I can't help but believe he'll have a bad case of sweaty palms when he sees Hardy lining up against him. How about a similar analysis for the offense?
  10. Official Panthers - Giants Gameday Thread

On another note, I was just watching Panther Huddle, and saw we won the toss last week. Haven't seen THAT in a while.

Don't you know that monsters aren't real?
  12. Official Panthers - Bills Gameday Thread

Wow! I gotta admit, that doesn't happen if the oline doesn't give Cam time to hit Ginn.

Williams just ties a team record for sacks. Great. Glad someone is having a good day.

And now here comes the defense implosion. That's a wrap guys, see ya next year (or at least that's what it feels like).
