  1. Offensive Line

Did you read the words he wrote or just the ones in your head? The guy you were responding to didn't say that Gettleman is running the same offense/defense that NY did, he said he's using the same drafting philosophy that NY did.
  2. Did you watch the Gettleman post draft interview? If you did and you still think they were drafted because of "SPARQ", then there's nothing I can do to help you.
  3. About those corners...

  4. When a player doesn't fit your system

I read where Washington plays mostly Cover 2 and Cover 3. If that's true, Norman will be fine.
  5. Offensive Line

It wasn't a random opinion. It was YOUR opinion. Plus, we signed interior OL depth in this very offseason. And, unless you're counting on Daryl Williams to be injured again this year, a healthy Daryl Williams *does* provide depth. Or, conversely, if Williams wins the starting RT position, Remmers provides depth.
  6. Offensive Line

So, in your opinion, drafting Germain Ifedi or Shon Coleman was and is the future key to stopping Von Miller? You do know how ridiculous that sounds, right?
  7. Sorry. Gettlemens Draft This Year Blows

Do you really still believe this? Or are you just fishing? Cuz if you're just fishing, consider hook firmly implanted.
  8. @KB_fan would put this guy to shame if (as she said in another thread) she didn't have a life. :P
  9. Gentlemans plans seem to assume he can....

Hey! Lay off of us old white guys! :P
  10. About those corners...

Yes, which is why KB's return, along with Olsen, is going to be so much better for us in the red zone (even though we were pretty darned good this year).
  11. About those corners...

Maybe, maybe not. That 49ers defense was damned stout with guys like Justin Smith, Glenn Dorsey, Ray McDonald, Navarro Bowman, Patrick Willis, Ahmad Brooks, Donte Whitner. Short yardage goal line running plays in the NFL are probably the most difficult plays to execute in the NFL against very good defenses, even when a team has stout interior OL play and a good RBs.
  12. "At the end of the day, we're not bringing in dumb guys. We're not gonna do it. I don't care how talented they are, cuz by the time they figure it out, you know, Ron and I get fired." I'm man-crushing on da Godfaddah right now... lol.
  13. Good read on UDFA WR Keyarris Garrett

What you just said is pretty much what the "evals" are saying about him, Kush... that he was used in a very limited fashion, but was very good in the limited uses he was provided.
  14. Were you hitting him with the "do you really think you know more about NFL talent than Dave Gettleman" angle, Panthro?
