There is significant overlap with libertarians and Bernie when it comes to social issues, so I would agree that there is a lot of common ground from which to work. He has even voted to remove funding from PP in a couple of votes. However, he runs all over the map with respect to "federally funding" entitlement programs. That is normally where he and libertarians part ways.
