Soooo, anyone know if we will be able to do this? Technically the Pelicans franchise owns the rights to those jerseys, right?

The pelicans own the history of the Hornets, but they use a different jersey for throwbacks, but your right in that Charlotte doesn't own or have the ability to use those jerseys.

Are you sure?  Because they have the right to produce the old logo for merchandise and sell the throwbacks.  To think that Charlotte can sell throwbacks and merch with the old logo but not wear the logo itself seems, well odd.

The Bobcats... errrr... Hornets posted a pic on Instagram of them stripping the practice court and preparing to put the new Hornets court down.

It was tweeted out that Summer League will begin mid July.

I'm guessing we'll have Charlotte Hornet Summer League jersey's.

Didn't think about that, good catch. I'll bet they'll be pretty generic like what they've already released unless we have a full blown uniform reveal before then.

Wouldn't be surprised if this concept we've seen floating around ends up looking similar to the actual summer league or practice uniforms.

Those don't look like summer league unis. Im sure they'll just be plain black with the word hornets on them. Really plain and boring. Honestly who cares about summer league unis though?

Not a floor expert by any means, but I'd assume it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to sand down a floor, repaint it and refinish it than to order all new floors. :)

It is. Floors are good for well over 10 years.

Just updated the OP with the official release by the team for the press conference Tuesday and a retirement video for Rufus.  I can't update the thread title for some reason.... lame.
