This topic popped up on Facebook & was funny as hell, so I thought I'd bring it here.

To start things off...

When we slipped by the Vikings to grab Jordan Gross. I don't know if he was one of Minnesota's targets, but the announcers were hilarious. I was expecting one of them to just stand up & yell "seriously! Vikingswhatthefug!?!?"

The New York Jests.  Their entire existence is a draft laughingstock.

LOL! One of my best friends is a Jets fan & to this day when he hears something that makes no sense he says "Dan Ma... wait, who?"

Honestly it was when the Falcons gave away a king's ransom to move up and acquire Julio Jones.

I was like "Can you believe these idiots?"

The Raiders picking DHB was quite hilarious for me.

Keyshawn raving about being Jarrett's mentor in Carolina then getting cut like the next day.

As for favorite though, def Star sliding right into our laps.

The Patriots trading ahead of us to take Laurence Maroney.

Word was we wanted Maroney.  Got DeAngelo Williams instead.

For whatever you think of Williams now, that story definitely worked out in our favor.

    • And if I'm Chicago, I gladly let it happen, and if I'm absolutely sold on going QB that early, I go Watson at 3, and keep those picks to help get more around that young player coming in.

Chicago has nothing at Safety, zero pass rush, and 2 of their receivers have battled injury for their entire careers. Obviously, they went where they felt they needed to go, but with Adams on the board, or any one of those DL, to trade up picks that could be used for some picks to really support them and get them in better shape to perform this season instead of in the future, I just can't imagine going any other way.
