...The Butler Bulldogs will make the 2010 Final Four.

I have been a fan of this program ever since they took Florida down to the final buzzer in the 2000 tourny. Been to a game at the Hinkle Fieldhouse plus 3 road games.

Brad Stevens is probably the most underrated coach in the Nation (56-10, 2 years, 2 NCAA trips). We are returning every single player from last years surprisingly good team. Including U19 Gold Medal Winners Gordan Hayward and Shelvin Mack. Throw in Matt Howard who is probably the best player on the team, this team will be great.

Kick off the year in 76 Classic which has teams like UCLA and West Va, who figure to be very good once again, maybe not UCLA.

Oh goodness how can you not like College Ball??

No they won't...the end.

The novelty of the small time programs knocking out powerhouses is over. The big time teams are not taking them lightly anymore and now know how to play them...

As I said, they didn't lose one single player.

The Tar Heels lost Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Danny Green and they still have a better chance of making it back to the final four than Butler.

The New Issue of ESPN Mag came out....

Top ten reads as follows

1. Kansas

2. Texas

3. MSU

4. Kentucky

5. Villanova

6. UNC

7. Purdue

8. Oklahoma

9. Butler

10. California

So that makes - #11 in the AP, #10 in the USA/ESPN, #11 in Yahoo!'s rankings, #11 in CBS' rankings, and #9 in ESPN Mags rankings.

There is still time to get on this wagon folks. There's plenty of room.

Dana O'Neil: Indy-residing Butler will turn Indianapolis into the set of Hoosiers by bringing mid-major Cinderella dreams to the Final Four -- although calling the Bulldogs a Cinderella might be a stretch. With everyone back from last season's squad, Butler more resembles a legit power team than anyone's classic underdog. Call them whatever you want. I call them one of the last four teams standing in April.

Dick Vitale: The fans in Indianapolis could be celebrating big-time as a little guy, Butler, has a legit shot to make it to the Final Four. Brad Stevens has good chemistry and experience returning with Gordon Hayward, Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack. By the way, Purdue is close by and could make it as well!

Pat Forde: Butler will make the Final Four. The Bulldogs bring back everybody from a 26-win team, took a chemistry-enhancing August trip to Italy and are expertly coached by Brad Stevens. In forwards Matt Howard and Gordon Hayward and guard Shelvin Mack, they have a trio of college-level star players. The experience gained last season will propel Butler through some difficult NCAA tournament matchups against more athletic teams and its shooting and defense will see it through to a homecoming in Indianapolis.
