NFP's Very Early Recruiting Rankings

55 posts in this topic

USC's recruiting class is going to be absolutely filthy by the time late January rolls around. Can just about count on it being in the top five.

Yea. I expect the usual suspects to grace the top 10.

Also- Rivals probably more accurately reflects these very early rankings, as usual.

Just got an update on Darian Roseboro who is currently ranked as the 159th best player in the country by ESPN.

His top 10 in no particular order: Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan, UNC, Florida, Tennessee, Duke, and N.C. State.

Also Juval Mollette, a four start wide receiver from Randleman, NC currently has UNC at the top of his list. Mollette is the 43rd ranked wide receiver in the country. Mollette is also said to be keen on Clemson, however Mollette's mother like's Carolina more. Mollette currently holds offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia, East Carolina, Duke, N.C. State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and as previously mentioned; Clemson.

Snagging both Mollette and Roseboro would be huge on the in-state recruiting front.

I like Roseboro's game. Very solid prospect. I think UT is in great shape with him, but it's going to be a battle, as his top schools are all great choices.

Keep us updated if you have any info.

Let me know who you are interested for info on... I can get ranking status, player interest, school offers, game stats for most of the players in NC. I focus more in Charlotte area but travel across southeast watching and talking with prospects. Many of games I attend will be more focused on University of North Carolina at Charlotte prospects for upcoming season.

I saw that Emmanuel McGirt from Hillside trimmed his list to Vanderbilt, N.C. State, Duke, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and UNC. I'd be interested to see who he is leaning toward.

The second guy I'm interested in is Brian Chaffin from Charlotte Christian. He narrowed his list to UNC, NCSU, Duke, and Stanford. I'd like to know who he is leaning toward.

I also saw that UNC picked up another commitment.

This time from defensive tackle Aaron Crawford from Stone Bridge.

Crawford had offers from Duke, Maryland, UVA, ODU, VT, and WF.

Crawford is rated a three star prospect by Scout, Rivals, and 24/7 sports... however he is not ranked by ESPN.

Couldnt get any solid info on McGirt.

Chaffin is going to take visits to NC State and Stanford. Has grown up going to Duke and UNC and knows the campuses and people and didn't feel need to take another to either. Has teammates on all 3 NC schools and none at Stanford. Didnt really specify in any direction but the decision is expected fairly soon. After he takes both visits in next month then it could be any day.

WVU is doing a great job.  They had stayed away from Florida the past couple of years,  Dana realized was a mistake and got back in there.

UNC back in business with Clark again. His buddy Hatton just committed to UNC and Clark talked his parents into visiting UNC during the freak show.

That would be awesome.

The two-tight end sets you could run with Tucker and Clark...

holy crap.
