I've thought that was the best possibility all along.  If they trade one, I definitely think it'll be #9...I don't think they'd be able to get a decent vet with #24 and a second rounder.

Am I the only 1 that thinks we aren't useing all these draft picks.

That we might only use 1 draft pick and the rest used to get a vet.

Or try and trade both picks plus Hendo to move up to 6 or 7 and get Exum/Smart if they are still there

Trade the 9 and Gerald for the 12 and Afflio. If a player drops that the Magic wants.

We shouldn't do any trades unless it's for a star player.

We won't do this, but there are rumors that the Bulls are high on Stauskas and are willing to part with 16 & 19 to move up.  The recent report was to move to 11th.

We probably don't want to take 4 rookies into the season, but if it were me I would gladly swap 9 for 16 & 19 and target any of TJW, Payne, Ennis, Lavine, and PJ Hairston

Then target Early, Napier, or Robinson at #24

Then get maybe a guy like Jabari Brown at #45

But like I said we are in win now mode and probably don't want to carry 4 rookies.  But I would be exploring it if I were GM.

If we could pull off a class for instance of Payne, PJ, Napier, and Brown... that would be a pretty stout rookie group with some potential  big time gems in there

Warren or McDermott would be a still with the 24th pick, I don't know why everyone hates on McDermott he is better than Morrison and has more weight so he won't have to worry about being out powered. McDermott will immediately be able to contribute and would be a great 6th man. McDermott will be a great offensive player from day one and could start in a few years if he can play better defense. I just don't see him lasting to the 24th pick.

Warren had a great college game but i don't know what he will do in the NBA. He has more upside than McDermott for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see him start over MKG if he has a good preseason. I believe he has more of a chance lasting to the 24th pick than McDermott. Being a ACC fan I would love for us to get him but if PJ Harriston or Napier is available would they be a better pick?
