All I'm seeing here is Alice's back yard is too small to bury a body.

Can't bury a body when you're already below sea level.

are you really going on and on about a fake BS movie?

Why do I bother clicking on your threads. not a question.

i agree with pat here.  thinking that a hollywood movie was partially or fully staged is much more stupid than using a segment from a johnny knoxville movie to help form your opinion about a state.

True. Anytime I'm at my grandparents and I dig below maybe 3 feet I hit water.

You've seemed to forget I've seen your tool shed ...I mean house that I could trade just my car for an entire block of your neighborhood.

More films were shot here last year than were shot in LA, thus the nickname of Hollywood South. I will agree that it isn't as nice as our residences throughout Florida or Puerto Rico, but disgusting is a better description of your neighborhood and I will be happy to post pictures of our streets for proof.

metairie is to new orleans what roxas is to manila. a step above the shithole, but in the end just a marginally better shithole

Depends on the area. My friend used to live on a Nassau (Street, Road, Drive, idk) and it was super nice.

So a mayor refers to one of the cities with largest African American populations as a "Chocolate city" 10 years ago and that's makes my suburb not even part of that city a horrible place?

Poor areas nowhere even close to my suburb get flooded thanks to shoddy work by Army Corp of Engineers decades ago and have since been rebuilt correctly also makes my suburb a horrible place?

The former ties of a single term politician elected in the 80's makes my city horrible?

The roads in my area are all pretty new and in great shape and you should personally know that fact from your visits to your family that live here. You actually drive within blocks of my house on your way to Causeway bridge and know that is all new, Also there is a saying about throwing stones in glass houses:

Second-worst roads: North Carolina

Poor-condition mileage rank (1=worst): 16 out of 50
Deficient bridges rank (1= worst): 10 out of 50
Fatalities rank (1=most): 18 out of 50
Congestion rank (1= worst): 9 out of 50
The runner-up in the ranking goes to North Carolina, with no standout numbers beyond the picture they paint as a whole: The state places in the worst 20 for all of the indicators, with numbers for deficient bridges and congestion placing in the 10 worst. It might be hard for the state to address its problems too, as it ranks 44 out of 50 states for per capita fund allocation from the Federal Highway Fund .

On the plus side, a new program from the North Carolina Department of Transportation to install solar panels to power its airport should free up some cash for much-needed road repairs.

Oh yeah, can't forget that a bunch of tourists come to 4 blocks of a certain downtown street and smell it up acting like idiots and how that totally impacts where I and your family live since we can obviously smell it 30 miles away. Forget the fact it' gets scrubbed down and pressure washed every night at 3 am and anyone caught urinating there in public get arrested!

Gee you made some great counterpoints! Lulz

Just out of curiosity, did you even read through that article to see which state was the only one in the country with worse roads than NC?
