Should parents of multiple children pay more in taxes instead of less?

I'm happy where I'm at.

According to the chart, if you get taxed 35% exactly, then you make $932,266.29

Congratulations

I figured.  Actually I was thinking "he wasn't taking into account the lower brackets.  I wonder how much he would actually have to make to get taxed 35%?"

Then I voluntarily did algebra to figure out what it would be.

For fun.

I have no issue with paying tax toward public schools. It's for the greater good and I understand that. But people around here where i live have a bit of taxes going toward bridge maintenance. But just as a toll charges the people who use the bridge the most, there should be a tax on people who have over a set number of children. Seems like we'd be hearing less about problems with school funding and teacher salaries. Not to mention people might think about having kids more thoroughly who can't afford them, which would help in the money spent on public assistance to people with babies who can't afford them.

I always make the mistake of totaling how much the government in total robs from me. That's federal, state, local, and those other things.

I can't wait until I'm a 1099 employee again.

If a person got tax credits for their kid graduating at least high school it may make them consider mult kids since its a back end credit and not current.

The tax base for a kid doesnt happen until they are at least 18 and making money enough to get taxed.
