Yup Rockets and Ariza moving closer to a deal. So Mavs could have Parsons and its just a bidding war with us and the Pacers

Lance Stephenson is only 23 years old. He can rebound, shoot, pass and finish and will likely only get better. He has played in very big games as well and we have a position for him to play. I'd give him whatever contract he wants. Next year we start Lance and let Hendo be our 6th man. After the season Henderson's remaining 6 million over one year will me very movable so we trade him and Hairston becomes the primary scoring option off the bench (assuming he stays out of trouble).

Hendo must be gone imo if we sign Lance

Doubt it. He will just come off the bench as a 6th man, play a little 2 and 3.

I'm not sure 10 will get it done. 11-12 minimum is my opinion to have a real shot at him.

Just my opinion though

I'd be surprised if he got $11.

The Pacers can't go any higher than 5X8.8 without being in the tax and if Dallas is lukewarm on Lance they certainly aren't giving him $11 mil.

I think 4X10.5 is fair and probably the max I would go.

Stephenson can also guard any wing position. He will give us added versatility on defense.

The only reason he hasn't gotten signed to a big contract already is because he can be a knucklehead

If the difference between us and Indy is that small he will just go back to Indy. He has said that is his preference anyway. We got to go big or drop out

    • I do think Kpassagnon is an interesting prospect that needs to be in the right situation to thrive. It just so happens that we have one of the best 6'7" defensive ends in the history of the NFL on a reunion tour with us in 2017 and maybe if need be, 2018 if he holds up.   Kpassagnon's attitude and work ethic is strong and tireless. His 3-cone and vert scare me for a defensive end, and that's not something you can teach. Being able to bend and explode off the snap to beat OL is not something that Peppers can show him, but maybe Peppers can show how to use athleticism to his advantage.  I can see him being just another Michael Johnson/Erik Armstead player or I could also see the environment here in Carolina benefiting him and he becomes a Carlos Dunlap kind of lanky DE that causes headaches along our DL. Kpassagnon's spider web looks amazing and awful all at the same time. I'd take him in this draft, but "where" is the big question.
